Mr. Ponce's early career includes his tenure at Slagle Financial, where he worked as an insurance specialist from 2015 to 2021. It was here that he made significant contributions by writing retirement articles for Advisors Excel, which were utilized by independent firms nationwide. Additionally, he wrote for a television show that aired locally in St. Louis. For the preceding year and to start his career, he was a marketing associate at Brokerage Unlimited Inc., assisting advisors with building life insurance, long term care and annuity cases for their clients.

Mr. Ponce's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in business marketing from Eastern Illinois University, which he earned in 2013. In addition, he holds several certifications, including Certified Financial Fiduciary, National Social Security Advisor, Bucket Plan Certified, Life and Health Insurance Producer from the National Association of Insurance Commissioners and a Series 65 certificate from FINRA.

In recognition of his work, Mr. Ponce has received numerous accolades, including the Planner of the Year Award from The Chamberlin Group in 2024, and being ranked among the top 15 advisors in 2023 and 2024 across Prosperity Capital Advisors, which is a SEC registered and federally covered Registered Investment Advisor (RIA). He also received a golf athletic scholarship during his time at Eastern Illinois University.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Ponce has been actively involved with the American Financial Education Alliance (AFEA), where he led educational seminars aimed at helping retirees maximize their benefits and structure their retirement plans effectively. He is also actively involved in civic-minded organizations through volunteering and supporting charitable golf events in Edwardsville and Saint Louis since 2013.

Looking ahead in his professional work, having already helped The Chamberlin Group achieve annual 50 percent revenue increases during his tenure, Mr. Ponce envisions helping the firm expand into a nationally recognized entity that provides a holistic approach to retirement, estate and tax planning services to as many individuals and families as possible. On a personal level, he plans to spend quality time with his wife and child, hoping to grow their family and build their dream home.
