During this time, she taught courses on research methods, statistics and strategic planning, integrating business and criminal justice elements with sociology.

Dr. Lee's academic journey began with an Associate of Arts in psychology from Mohave Community College in 2005, followed by coursework at Tulane University in 2007. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and sociology from the University of Nevada, Reno, in 2008 and continued her studies there to obtain a Master of Arts in sociology in 2010. Her educational pursuits culminated with a PhD in learning, development and technology from the University of Nevada in 2016. These academic achievements have shaped her career and enabled her to support students from diverse backgrounds.

Dr. Lee's dedication to education is further demonstrated through her certifications, including the Quality Matters Master Review for Higher Education obtained in 2023 and various certifications from the Association of College and University Educators. These credentials underscore her commitment to creating inclusive and effective online learning environments.

Dr. Lee's professional affiliations include membership in the American Educational Research Association since 2012, involvement with the Society for Information Technology & Teacher Education, and the International Journal of Technology in Teaching and Learning. She is also an editor for SAGE Open: Education and the copyeditor for Grounded Theory Review: An International Journal. Her academic contributions have been recognized with numerous awards, such as the Excellence in Teaching Award from the University of Nevada, Reno.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Dr. Lee is actively engaged in civic activities. She volunteers and assists with the children in her church's Sunday school program and assists local parents with their children's education post-COVID-19. Her charitable efforts include donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

In her personal life, Dr. Lee enjoys creative pursuits such as painting and building miniature rooms. She is also passionate about gardening despite the challenges posed by unfamiliar weather patterns.
