In this capacity, he assists engineers in designing air conditioning systems/controls and is responsible for contracting and selling these systems. His role involves supervising other sales engineers and collaborating closely with customers, primarily engineers and contractors. He is adept at selecting applied and unitary air conditioning and control systems, setting pricing, processing and fulfilling orders, and troubleshooting jobs as needed. His leadership skills are evident in his dedication to nurturing the talents of up-and-coming professionals within the company.

Mr. King's professional affiliations include membership in the North Texas Association of Energy Engineers (NTAEE) and the American Society of Heating Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), where he has served as a board member for four years and as Refrigeration Chair for two years. These memberships demonstrate his commitment to staying informed about industry developments and making contributions to the field.

During this time, he contributed to electrical wire harnessing for the F-16 using the CATIA program and played a human resources role in hiring engineers for the Fort Worth TX location. His technical expertise and ability to work collaboratively were instrumental in his success at Lockheed Martin.

Mr. King's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington, where he graduated in 2002. This academic foundation has been pivotal in his career achievements, providing him with the technical knowledge necessary for his roles in engineering and sales. He has further enhanced his skills through certifications such as the Salesforce ProSell Level I from Salesforce Training in 2023, participation in Trane's Texas Leadership Development Program in 2015 and Trane's National Managerial Leadership Development Program in 2023.

In addition to his engineering roles, Mr. King has a rich history in music as a percussionist. He was a founding member of the very first professional drumline in the NBA for the Dallas Mavericks from 2002 to 2023 and previously taught high school drumline while also working with Winter Guard International (WGI) for World Class professional indoor drumlines. His passion for music complements his professional endeavors, showcasing his diverse talents and interests.

Beyond his professional life, Mr. King is actively involved in civic organizations. He serves as a den leader for Scouts of America, volunteers with Best Buddies, presides over his neighborhood social committee, teaches Sunday school for fourth and fifth graders, coaches children's baseball, participates in Trane's culture committee, and is an active philanthropist for non-profit organizations around the world. His contributions have been recognized with several awards, including Trane's Top Ten Club, Top Unitary Sales Award, Homerun Award and two-time World Champion Bass Drum Line titles from Drum Corps International (DCI) with a world class organization named The Blue Knights.
