In addition to her role at Artistic Edge Dance Company, Ms. Wescott has served as the dance director at Renaissance Academy Charter School since 2017. Her commitment to education is further exemplified by her ongoing work as a dance instructor, choreographer at Dance Works in Quakertown, PA, training students at all levels, and all genres of dance from 2004-2017.

Ms. Wescott's extensive experience includes her tenure as a dance instructor and choreographer at Beth Jacobsen's School of Dance from 2009 to 2017 — during which she taught students in musical theatre, hip-hop, modern and jazz stylings — and at Dance Arts Collaborative in Plumsteadville, Pennsylvania from 2013-2019. She also contributed her expertise as a dance teacher at Arts Academy Charter Middle School in Allentown, Pennsylvania, during the 2015 to 2016 academic year. Her diverse teaching background has honed her ability to adapt to various educational environments and inspire students of all ages.

A professional dancer herself, Ms. Wescott performed with Project Moshen Dance Company in Philadelphia from 2011 to 2016 and CoExist Dance Company from 2009 to 2011, during which she performed in several big cities with specialties in jazz, contemporary and hip-hop music. Her experiences have enriched her understanding of performance dynamics and choreography, further enhancing her ability to relate to her students' challenges as both an instructor and director.

Ms. Wescott's academic achievements have played a significant role in her success. She earned a Master of Education from Temple University in 2024 and a Bachelor of Arts in dance from DeSales University in 2008. During her time at DeSales, she was a member of the XTE Dance Honors Society and served as a dance director for the school's Summer Theatre Institute, showcasing her early passion for teaching and helping others. Her education has provided her with a strong foundation in both the theoretical and practical aspects of dance, enabling her to excel in various roles within the industry.

Along with her educational accomplishments, Ms. Wescott credits hard work, unwavering determination and motivation as key factors in achieving her goal of building and maintaining a successful dance business. Looking ahead, she aims to expand Artistic Edge Dance Company's reach through touring performances across the United States and eventually internationally. She is also pursuing membership with the Dance Masters of America and seeks greater involvement within the dance community.
