An established design and construction industry figure, Ms. Renard is the founder, chief executive officer and lead designer at Avenelle Design and Management. Backed by 10 years of experience, she has been dedicated to refining processes and establishing effective design management practices to enhance communication and streamline construction projects since 2018. Over the years, Ms. Renard has developed relationships with more than 75 vendors and worked alongside more than 10 general contracting firms to complete 100+ projects. Her commitment to improving the industry is evident in her efforts to share these refined processes with the construction community in Key Largo, Florida, where she is based.

Prior to her current role, Ms. Renard honed her skills at Keys Green Builders from 2016 to 2020, where she focused on construction coordination and design for numerous residential and commercial properties within the Ocean Reef Club community. Her experience there highlighted inefficiencies in the typical design process, prompting her to start her own company. During that time, she also worked freelance jobs while developing Avenelle Design and Management. Her earlier career includes a position as a designer at Chute Gerdeman from 2012 to 2016, where she began as an intern and quickly transitioned to a Junior Designer role after graduating from Ohio State University. She contributed to award-winning interior design packages for Verizon Wireless, as well as design work for well-known brands such as Kay Jewelers and Starbucks.

Ms. Renard's professional journey began with roles that showcased her leadership and communication skills. From 2009 to 2013, she served as a communication technology coordinator at Ohio State University and a training supervisor at UPS from 2010 to 2013. These positions laid the foundation for her future project management and design endeavors.

Ms. Renard's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in interior design from Ohio State University, obtained in 2013. She actively participated in various organizations including the Leadership Collaborative during her college years. She also cheered for the Columbus Crew Major League Soccer team and later became captain and lead choreographer for the Ohio Machine Major League Lacrosse team. Her involvement in these activities enriched her college experience and helped her build valuable industry connections.

Ms. Renard obtained her NCIDQ certification from the Council for Interior Design Qualification in 2018. This certification underscores her commitment to maintaining high standards in her field. Additionally, she is a member of the Ocean Reef Club Chamber of Commerce and the Council for Interior Design Qualification, further solidifying her standing within the industry.

Beyond her professional achievements, Ms. Renard is actively involved in civic organizations at the Ocean Reef Club community and serves on the Florida Keys College Apprenticeship Program board. She is passionate about addressing labor shortages by enhancing apprenticeship programs, although challenges have delayed some of her plans.

In her personal life, Ms. Renard enjoys dancing, fishing, gardening and cooking. Looking ahead, she aims to expand Avenelle Design and Management into a larger-scale operation to meet growing demand. She hopes to share her message on the importance of collaboration and contribute to the growth of the design management industry.
