In addition to her primary role, Ms. Sokolova founded Spanish Sunday School in 2015, where she continues to serve as owner and creator. This initiative reflects her passion for language education and her commitment to providing accessible learning opportunities. Her innovative approach to teaching has been further demonstrated during her tenure as a second through fourth-grade teacher and math coach at Innovation Charter School from 2017 to 2023. Here, she developed an acceleration program for gifted students that achieved a remarkable 100% proficiency rate, a testament to her dedication and skill in educational development.

Ms. Sokolova's career journey also includes significant experience outside the classroom. From 2006 to 2015, she was the head of the DM Kiev Office at Davis Manafort LLC, where she honed her leadership skills and gained valuable insights into organizational management during active political reformation of Ukraine. For the preceding five years, she served as chief guest relations officer for MSC Cruises' Japanese Cruise Line, where she excelled in customer relations and cross-cultural communication.

Educationally, Ms. Sokolova earned a Bachelor of Education in foreign languages and literatures from Zaporizhzhia National University in Ukraine in 2005 before immigrating to the United States in 2015. Seeking to further her education, she is currently pursuing a Master of Education in educational leadership and administration at St. Thomas University.

Ms. Sokolova's professional achievements have not gone unnoticed, having been honored with the Best Teacher of the Year award. Her success is deeply rooted in the support of her family, particularly her mom, Svitlana, whose encouragement has been a source of inspiration throughout her career. Her son, Roman Jr., also serves as a motivating force as she continues to engage with her students.

Anticipating her professional future, Ms. Sokolova plans to complete her master's degree and establish an intervention department dedicated to supporting students who have not yet met their academic goals. She is working right now to publish a textbook for students who learn Spanish as a second language in Russian and English edition. Additionally, she is actively involved in a project aimed at enhancing the education system in Ukraine, demonstrating her commitment to global educational advancement.
