His work encompasses one-on-one and group training sessions as well as organizational development initiatives that involve crafting mission and vision statements, cultivating company cultures and initiating leadership training programs. His expertise in leadership and workplace development is widely recognized, earning him a reputation as a leader in the field.
Prior to founding RLB Training and Development, Mr. Reich served as a management development associate at Organon Pharmaceuticals from 2000 to 2003. In this role, he designed and developed management strategies that aligned with corporate goals at all levels of the company. He was also a sales training consultant at Chubb Computer Services from 1998 to 2000, during which he focused on designing and implementing effective sales training programs. His storied career in training began at Toshiba America, where he worked as a senior sales trainer from 1993 to 1997. It was during this period that his potential in leadership development was first recognized by his boss, setting him on a path that would define his professional journey.
Before starting on his path in training and development, Mr. Reich laid a strong foundation for his career achievements in the academic realm. He earned a Master of Science in human resource management from Upsala College in 1992 and a Bachelor of Arts in business administration and management from Gettysburg College in 1982. To augment his qualifications, he is certified by FranklinCovey to teach the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, Situational Leadership and conflict resolution - credentials that have further enhanced his ability to deliver impactful training programs.
Throughout his career, Mr. Reich has been featured in numerous articles and podcasts highlighting his contributions and sharing insights in the field of leadership development. He is also an active member of industry-related organizations such as the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Learning and Development Professionals, keeping him connected with the latest trends and best practices in the field. His commitment to fostering long-term relationships is evident in his continued engagement with colleagues and clients he met over two decades ago.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Reich is civically engaged with organizations like the YMCA and has received numerous internal awards recognizing his contributions to various projects and initiatives. His dedication to personal growth is reflected in his passion for reading; inspired by a conversation with his former boss, Joe Breslin, he went on to read more than 400 leadership books - a testament to his remarkable commitment to continuous learning. Looking back on his success thus far, he is equally grateful to his mentors Barbara Fulmer and Rich Michaels, both of whom had a significant impact on his career ascension.
An avid sports fan, Mr. Reich enjoys traveling with his wife, working out, reading and gardening. Looking toward the future, he plans to continue working for as long as he stays healthy and finds joy in his profession.
