Mr. Ahmed has established a distinguished career in the realm of financial systems and management, currently serving as a senior product manager at Infor. Prior to his current position, Mr. Ahmed served as a financial systems architect at Millicom from 2020 to 2024, where he was responsible for managing enterprise financial systems and leading critical projects on global financial systems. Some key accomplishments he achieved at Millicom were successfully implementing a cloud-based finance solution, migrating all financial systems from on-premises to cloud solutions, centralizing all financial processes, minimizing costs and streamlining processes for strategic decisions. Over his tenure, he centralized the company's global silo systems and financial processes, pushed the organization to implement best practices, and challenged and mentored resources. Additionally, he engaged with multiple groups in finance, accounting, tax, investment relations, procurement, and human resources from various countries to ensure cultural adaptation to cloud migration. His efforts also included competitive analysis and return-on-investment negotiations, supporting the global financial system and managing a team of contractors and full-time employees.

During the preceding year, Mr. Ahmed held dual roles as a senior Hyperion architect at Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. and as co-founder and chief executive officer of Smart Tech Solution. At the former company, he focused on enhancing financial planning systems, while at Smart Tech Solution, he led the firm in providing innovative technology solutions. This included building a healthcare startup during COVID-19 to minimize healthcare costs by utilizing a mobile platform for all remote healthcare needs and introducing an innovative centralized platform for low-access regions.

From 2017 to 2019, Mr. Ahmed served as manager of financial planning and analysis (Hyperion) at Delaware North. His work involved developing strategic financial models and optimizing enterprise performance management systems. For the preceding three years, he was an EPM/ERP developer 2 at Miami-Dade County, where he contributed to the development of enterprise resource planning solutions and received recognition for his efforts.

Mr. Ahmed's earlier career includes roles as a senior associate at PwC for one year and a management consultant in finance and enterprise performance, Oracle Hyperion EPM at Accenture, also for one year. His experience at Accenture equipped him with negotiation and change management skills essential for aligning different stakeholders with new organizational processes. Despite earning his bachelor's degree and beginning his career at Liberty, he faced notable challenges during the financial crisis while at Accenture and decided to pursue an MBA at his mentor's prompting.

Originally from Bangladesh, Mr. Ahmed immigrated to the U.S. from Canada with his parents in 2004, when he was finishing high school. Raised in a hardworking family, he took a job as a pizza delivery boy after high school to help support his studies and education, as his father was struggling to build a sustainable business. Despite facing ridicule from many people throughout his life and many setbacks, he worked nights while attending school full-time to earn a dual degree in finance and computer information systems. His unwavering focus and determination led to his securing his first job right after graduation at a Fortune 50 company despite the global crisis.

Educationally, Mr. Ahmed earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University in 2010, followed by another Bachelor of Business Administration in computer information systems from the same institution in 2011. These foundational degrees paved the way for his pursuit of dual Master of Business Administration degrees in business administration and management, as well as health care administration, from Carey Business School at Johns Hopkins University in 2020.

Overall, Mr. Ahmed attributes his success to his strong drive to take action and get things done. Rather than dwelling on ideas, he prefers to move forward and execute, often energized by the pace of his work. He genuinely enjoys what he does, which he sees as essential to staying motivated and effective. Known for his patience and thoughtful decision-making, his focus consistently remains on achieving the best outcomes for both the organization and its people, a balance that underpins his approach to leadership.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Ahmed is deeply committed to community engagement. He served as a financial analyst with the St. Vincent de Paul Society in Atlanta, demonstrating his dedication to using his skills for the betterment of society. He is also actively involved with local community organizations and Hopkins alumni organizations and is considering participating in conferences for new graduates and students entering master's programs. Outside of his work responsibilities, he enjoys traveling and exploring local cultures through food.
