Mr. Burleigh has cultivated a distinguished career, marked by his expertise in video production and his burgeoning presence in the fine arts community. Since 1996, he has served as a corporate representative where his role involves teamwork and execution of complex live broadcasts for federal customers. Drawing on his technical savviness, the role includes the technical directing of photography during multiple camera arrangements, to ensure seamless live or delayed recordings of events for dignitaries across various locations in Washington, DC.

In addition to his primary role, Mr. Burleigh is also the owner and creative force behind Artful Kryptonite, where he has been a publicly noted fine artist since 2005. His transition into the arts has been met with acclaim, as evidenced by his participation in exhibitions such as the one at Agora Gallery in Manhattan's Soho district. His artwork has reached international audiences through digital platforms, further establishing his reputation in the art world.

Mr. Burleigh's career began in the early 1980s when he was heading the graphics department for WDTV, a commercial television station, in Bridgeport, West Virginia. A year later, he was hired by the Biomedical Communications Department of the West Virginia University Medical Center. There, he documented and edited emergency services, and open heart surgeries, and produced videos involving drug busts in collaboration with the Department of Public Safety. Additionally, his work was recognized by the American College of Surgeons, highlighting his proficiency in editing and television production. In 1993, he briefly worked for Royal Caribbean's video department on the Monarch of the Seas before serving as an associate producer for WNPB, a PBS station in Morgantown, West Virginia.

Academically, Mr. Burleigh's background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts from West Virginia University in Morgantown, completed in 1983. This education laid the foundation for his initial foray into television production and later facilitated his return to fine arts. Additionally, he was certified in the use, maintenance, and operation of Steadicam equipment by the International Film and Television Workshops in Rockport, Maine.

Mr. Burleigh's achievements are further underscored by numerous awards and recognitions in fine art. In 2006, he received a Grand Jury Award for Theosophical Surrealism from the New York International Art Festival. There, he exhibited twenty-two paintings of oil on canvas. Since that time he has received numerous awards for his digital, non-representational work from the American Art Awards, in 2016, multiple awards for Special Recognition from the Light Space Time Gallery's 2nd Primary Colors Art Exhibition, in 2020, multiple Certificates of Artistic Excellence from the J. Mane Gallery H20, in 2021, the Vision Contemporary Art Curator Magazine, Collectors International Award, in 2021, and the Collector's Legacy Impact Award, Art Tour International, 2025.

Mr. Burleigh is also an established author, having penned "A Muse Meant For You!: Burleigh's Rules of Creative Engagement for Aspiring Painters," published by Artful Kryptonite in 2025, and currently available on Amazon.com.

Mr. Burleigh's artwork has also appeared on a large screen in Times Square, as well as in the publication of Art Takes Times Square, in 2012.

He was featured in Circle Foundation For The Arts, Masterful Minds 5, Artists to Watch, in 2024. Art Tour International, Top Featured Star, Unveiling Beauty: "The Silent Dialogue in Harry T. Burleigh's Art." In addition, Mr. Burleigh was interviewed by Viviana Puello, for Art Tour International, Vivid Arts TV.

In his personal life, Mr. Burleigh enjoys live events, photography, visual arts, traveling, and sports cars — a passion that once led him to national drag racing events. He is an avid animal lover and shares this passion with his wife through their dedication to rescuing animals. Looking ahead, he envisions himself continuing to make strides as a fine artist and is set to be featured in Art Celebrity Magazine in the Summer 2005 issue.
