Previously, she served as the executive medical director at CommonSpirit Health from 2023 to 2025, where she played a pivotal role in overseeing medical group operations across multiple hospital markets.

Dr. Polotsky's tenure at Kaiser Permanente was extensive and impactful. From 2011 to 2023, she worked as an internist with an endocrine focus, providing specialized care to patients. She also held several leadership positions within the organization, including vice president of medical home care delivery from 2021 to 2022 and director of operational excellence from 2020 to 2021. Additionally, she was a board director for the Colorado Permanente Medical Group in 2020-2021. Her role as regional medical director for message management from 2019 to 2021 further showcased her ability to lead complex healthcare initiatives.

Dr. Polotsky's earlier career included serving as the medical office chief at Kaiser Permanente from 2014 to 2020 and chief of East Internal Medicine from 2012 to 2014. Her foundational years in medicine were spent as an endocrinology fellow at New York-Presbyterian Hospital from 2008 to 2010 and as an internist at Montefiore Health System from 2002 to 2010. During this time, she also contributed to academia as the internal medicine clerkship director at Albert Einstein College of Medicine from 2003 to 2008.

Dr. Polotsky's academic journey laid a strong foundation for her professional achievements. She earned a Master of Business Operational Excellence from The Ohio State University's Fisher College of Business in 2017, which equipped her with advanced skills for her leadership roles. She completed a fellowship in endocrinology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in 2010 and a residency in internal medicine at Montefiore Health System in 2002. Her medical degree was conferred by Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1999, following a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from New York University in 1995.

Dr. Polotsky's certifications include a Black Belt Lean Six Sigma from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business and a Lean Black Belt from the City and County of Denver, underscoring her commitment to operational excellence. Her success is deeply rooted in the support she received from her parents and her partnership with her husband, who shares her passion for endocrinology and leadership.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Dr. Polotsky has been actively involved in civic organizations. She currently serves as board president of Young Israel of Denver synagogue. In the past, she served as board president of the Denver Academy of Torah K-12 School from 2014 to 2016 and vice chair of development from 2012 to 2014. Her contributions were recognized when she was honored for leadership by the same institution. She also served as vice president of the board for fundraising and development at Ben Porat Yosef Elementary School from 2009 to 2010.

Dr. Polotsky is also an accomplished author, having published "Physician Leader: How Exam Room Experience Drives Leadership Excellence" through Routledge Productivity Press in 2024. This work highlights her insights into how clinical experience can inform effective leadership in healthcare settings. Looking ahead, Dr. Polotsky aims to establish a business focused on supporting women during perimenopause and menopause and is currently writing a book on women's health.

In her personal life, Dr. Polotsky enjoys spending time with her five children and a grandchild, baking sourdough bread, hiking, and reading—activities that provide balance and fulfillment outside her professional commitments. Her journey as a refugee from Belarus, living through the Chernobyl catastrophe and the Soviet Union's collapse has shaped her resilience and determination, driving her success in both personal and professional spheres.
