A distinguished cybersecurity professional, Mr. Wilson has served as a senior threat environment engineer at Endictus Corp since 2023. He collaborates with automation engineers to create virtual environments using cloud or office-based resources, enabling customers to train for cyber network defense.

In addition to his role at Endictus Corp, Mr. Wilson has been an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland Global Campus since 2011. Here, he imparts his extensive knowledge to future cybersecurity professionals, fostering their development and confidence. His dedication to education is evident in his commitment to mentoring newcomers in the field of cybersecurity, whether they are pursuing degrees in forensics, penetration testing or IT help desk roles. Mr. Wilson also lends his expertise to the U.S. Army Reserve, where he has been an intrusion analyst and network defense mission lead since 2008, and currently fills the role of detachment noncommissioned officer in charge.

Prior to joining Endictus Corp, Mr. Wilson was a Red Hat Enterprise Linux administrator at Booz Allen Hamilton from 2021 to 2023. He also served as a cybersecurity engineer and cyber threat intel analyst at TEST LLC from 2015 to 2021, where he honed his skills in threat analysis and network security. His earlier roles include senior systems engineer IV at COLSA from 2013 to 2015, instructor at Tyonek from 2011 to 2013 and senior systems security engineer at SAIC from 2008 to 2011.

Mr. Wilson's military service spans over 30 years in the U.S. Army. He began his military career in 1994 as a record telecommunications center operator-maintainer and evolved through various roles, including information systems technician and COMSEC custodian. He further advanced his expertise over time, becoming a cyber network defender, a position that directly aligns with his current work as a contractor. Because of his background, Mr. Wilson was the first soldier to reclass to cyber network defender Army-wide without attending the mandatory training.

Mr. Wilson's academic achievements have significantly contributed to his professional success. He earned a master's degree in network and communications management from the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University in 2008 and a bachelor's degree in information systems from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2005. His educational background is complemented by coursework in criminal justice and law enforcement administration at Central Texas College and network security studies at the University of Advancing Technology.

Mr. Wilson's certifications further underscore his expertise in cybersecurity. Notable credentials include CompTIA Security+, GIAC Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and several others from institutions like the SANS Institute and the EC-Council. These certifications reflect Mr. Wilson's commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Mr. Wilson attributes his success to his innate curiosity and desire to understand how things work, which have driven him to continuously learn and develop expertise in his field. Additionally, he is grateful for the invaluable mentorship he has received throughout his career. Several individuals have played a particularly significant role in shaping his career and personal growth. During his time on active duty, Jose Gonzales provided guidance and support, while Chris Herwig has been instrumental in offering insight regarding contracting work. Another key influence in his journey has been John Wiedericht, whose mentorship has been invaluable. Mr. Wilson also holds deep respect for Nicole Ortiz, the president and chief executive officer of Endictus Corp. Above all, he expresses gratitude to his parents, Edward and Sharon Wilson, for the way they raised him, recognizing their lasting impact on his character and values.
