Before launching his business, Mr. Marinello was the director of safety and security at HeliFlite, a luxury travel aviation company in Kearny, New Jersey, from 2015 to 2021, where he honed his security and emergency management expertise. Pivoting into aviation after a successful tenure in the private sector, he was the chief executive officer of SAS Group LLC, an investigation and security agency based in New Jersey, between 2007 and 2021, where he leveraged his strategic planning and operations skills.

Mr. Marinello's career began with the New Jersey State Police in 1979, where he served as a state trooper until 2006. At just 19, he was one of the youngest to join the force, a testament to his determination and resilience. During this time, Mr. Marinello became the first chief pilot for the City of Newark in 2006, initiating their aviation program and significantly reducing crime rates through innovative helicopter utilization.

In preparation for his future, Mr. Marinello completed coursework toward an associate degree in police science. These educational experiences laid the foundation for his successful career in law enforcement and aviation.

Active civically, Mr. Marinello served as the deputy mayor of Springfield Township in Burlington County, New Jersey, from 2015 to 2021. He later served as the town's mayor between 2021 and 2022, further exemplifying his leadership capabilities and civic engagement. Mr. Marinello is also a member of the Knights of Columbus and has volunteered numerous times for various causes, including his instrumental role in launching his rescue helicopter service in the Bahamas in March 2024. The inaugural mission involved a high-risk operation to rescue 10 Americans trapped in an orphanage amidst political unrest in Haiti.

Throughout his career, Mr. Marinello has been recognized for his contributions and achievements. In 2024 alone, he received the Award for Saving the Lives of the People in Haiti from the Knights of Columbus, was named New Jersey State Trooper of the Year, and earned the Sikorsky Rescue Award from Sikorsky Aircraft.
