Mr. Patrick was then promoted to director of network infrastructure at Ohio National Financial Services from 2020 to 2022, overseeing networking, messaging, collaboration, software licensing and middleware. His strategic initiatives generated significant cost savings for the company, including a reduction of approximately $10.3 million annually by streamlining licensing costs and eliminating redundant applications. Leveraging the depth of knowledge he moved to information technology security engineer, concentrating on strengthening the organization's cybersecurity infrastructure and ensuring comprehensive protection against threats. After one year in this position, he transitioned to self-employment as a director of opportunities and growth, exploring new avenues for business development and innovation before assuming his current role.
Educationally, Mr. Patrick completed a bachelor's degree in information technology from the Carl H. Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati, completed in 1996 while serving in his first professional role. Complementing his degree, he holds several recent certifications that further enhance his expertise, including CompTIA Security+, Neo4j certifications, and LOMAs.
In recognition of his achievements, Mr. Patrick has received numerous accolades throughout his career, including the Rising Star award and several internal recognitions at Illumination Works for his contributions to company spirit and external collaborations.
