BROWNSVILLE, TX, July 17, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Esperanza Almanzar-Pichardo has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Almanzar-Pichardo has carved a distinguished career in supply chain management, demonstrating expertise and leadership across various roles. Most recently, she served as the senior supply chain manager at Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation in New York where she was instrumental in optimizing supply chain processes and fostering a culture of mentorship within the organization. She began her tenure at Spellman in 2020 as a production and inventory control manager, where she quickly advanced to materials and logistics manager and then senior supply chain manager. Her contributions were recognized with an Appreciation Award from the supply chain team in 2022 and a Certificate of Achievement for her dedicated service as a mentor in 2021.

Prior to her time at Spellman, Ms. Almanzar-Pichardo honed her skills as a master production scheduler at Smiths Interconnect in Stuart, Florida, from 2010 to 2019. Her role involved coordinating production schedules to meet customer demands efficiently. From 2007 to 2010, she served as plant manager and site coordinator at FCM/CCM, where she oversaw operations and ensured seamless coordination between sites.

Ms. Almanzar-Pichardo's journey began when she participated in a scholarship program sponsored by Georgetown University, which allowed her to come to the United States. After completing her studies at Waukesha County Technical College, she returned to the Dominican Republic to share what she had learned. This was part of the scholarship requirement, so she began teaching English as a second language to professionals.

Ms. Almanzar-Pichardo entered the workforce as an inline quality inspector in textile manufacturing for L&N Sales and Marketing, an international fashion merchandising company. Later, she was invited back to the U.S. for training and accepted a position at Power-One, now known as ABB. The company needed someone from the Dominican Republic who could help overcome language barriers during their manufacturing transfer from Puerto Rico to the Dominican Republic. Although she had no prior experience in purchasing, her ability to learn quickly, language proficiency and familiarity with the country impressed her boss, who ultimately became a mentor and helped her transition into the supply chain field.

Ms. Almanzar-Pichardo's academic background laid a strong foundation for her professional achievements. In 2006, she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in business administration and management from Universidad del Caribe in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She also holds an Associate of Applied Science in fashion marketing and clothing merchandising from Waukesha County Technical College in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, completed in 2002. These educational experiences equipped her with the knowledge and skills necessary for success in the dynamic field of supply chain management.

Ms. Almanzar-Pichardo's commitment to professional development is evident through her certifications in production and inventory management and supply chain management from the American Production Inventory Control Society and as a PMP project manager from INTECT - Instituto Technológico de Santo Domingo. She also holds certifications in inventory quality control ratio management from IQR International, DemandFlow technology-based management from JCIT International, and adult and pediatric first aid from the Emergency Care and Safety Institute. Her dedication extends beyond her career; she actively supports various church events and activities, reflecting her civic-minded nature.

One of the aspects of her career that Ms. Almanzar-Pichardo enjoys the most is the opportunity to give back and mentor others, just as her mentors once did for her. She takes pride in the fact that many of her former employees have risen to higher positions within the company and that she has contributed to their career development and growth. She has received calls from employees thanking her for her guidance and support. Ms. Almanzar-Pichardo is proud that in every company where she has worked, she has had a positive impact on one or two employees, helping them become not only better professionals but also better people.

Ms. Almanzar-Pichardo attributes her success to the determination, perseverance and discipline instilled by her mother. Her mother always reminded her that, no matter how difficult things became, a better day would come tomorrow. She also acknowledges the support of her oldest brother and sister, Benjamin and Edita, who sacrificed their own resources to pay for her English course in the Dominican Republic.

Ms. Almanzar-Pichardo cherishes spending time with her sons, dancing and participating in church activities. Additionally, she aims to grow in her role as a supply chain planning manager at Schneider Electric and contribute to the company's success. She is grateful to be a key member of an organization that values a personable and supportive work environment, emphasizing the importance of human connection, respect and integrity. Ms. Almanzar-Pichardo is eager to take on more responsibilities since joining the company in February 2025 and collaborate with her team to identify key roles that will help develop the organization's future leaders through a succession plan, ensuring business continuity. The company just recently secured the #1 ranking in the 2025 Gartner Top 25 Supply Chain for the third consecutive year. This ranking recognizes leading supply chain organizations and identifies the underlying trends that drove their performance.

Her motto is "Success begins when you understand that your talents and abilities are meant to be used to serve others."
