Ms. Abbott's academic achievements have played a crucial role in her success. She holds a Master of Business Administration, earned in 2023, and a Bachelor of Science in business administration, awarded in 2005, both from the University of Phoenix. Her educational journey began at the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts, where she graduated in 1992 with a focus on music performance, drama, and choir. Deeply committed to lifelong learning, she continually seeks innovative ways to support her colleagues and students.

Beyond her professional responsibilities, Ms. Abbott is an active member of the Jackie Robinson YMCA Scholarship Committee and the National Society of Leadership and Success, reflecting her dedication to empowering students and cultivating leadership skills. Outside of work, Ms. Abbott cherishes playing cards with her retired friends and spending quality time with her siblings and their children.
