Prior to joining Erie Insurance, Ms. Hourigan was a partner at Redgrave LLP from 2021 to 2022 and a founding partner from 2010 to 2018, during which she was pivotal in establishing the firm's presence and reputation. Between these two tenures, she was a partner at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, where she focused on information governance, data privacy and compliance matters from 2019 to 2021. Each of these positions allowed her to develop a robust understanding of corporate law, client relations and expert witness engagements, further solidifying her standing in the legal community.

Before venturing onto her vocational path, Mr. Hourigan earned a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University in 1999 and obtained a bachelor's degree at Emory University. Along with her education, she attributes much of her success to the robust work ethic instilled in her by her blue-collar upbringing, which has driven her to excel in every endeavor she undertakes.

Actively involved in civic organizations, Ms. Hourigan serves as a member of the grants committee for the Erie Women's Fund, where she contributes to initiatives aimed at empowering women and supporting community development. A proud mother of two step-children, she enjoys betting on horse racing in Ireland and participating in triathlons and running events, activities that reflect her adventurous spirit and love of competition. One of her most remarkable personal achievements was climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in 2017 while in her mid-40s — a dream she had harbored since she was 25.
