In addition to his primary position, Mr. Spiropoulos has held several other key positions at Yokogawa. Since joining the organization in 2009, he has served in roles including the North America systems business and consulting leader, where he played a crucial role in shaping the company's strategic direction. He was also the systems regional business owner overseeing product management teams for Yokogawa Systems platforms, as well as serving as senior technical solutions consultant and DCS platform manager in the mid-2010s. These roles have seen him drive innovation in industrial digital transformation as he has guided process and energy industries towards sustainable operations, worker safety and enablement, de-carbonization, and environmental custodianship by leveraging robotics and artificial intelligence.

Mr. Spiropoulos's early career includes his New York City based chemical engineering graduate research in nanotechnology, with a focus on self-assembling monolayer structures and Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLEDs) - as well as his roles as a lead process engineer at Hyperion Systems Engineering Ltd. from 2006 to 2009 in Greek Cyprus, and as European sales and marketing consultant for Manufacturing Execution Systems from 2009 to 2013 in the United Kingdom. Eugene's career and life experience has spanned several continents in his professional journey to improve society of today and tomorrow through responsible use of technology. Furthering his expertise in his field, he has been a long-time member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.

Academically, Mr. Spiropoulos's background laid a strong foundation for his successful career. He earned a Bachelor of Engineering in chemical engineering from the City College of New York in 2001, followed by a Doctorate Fellowship as a Grove Foundation Scholar at the Grove School of Engineering in 2003. Eugene is an active alumnus of King's College, Lagos.

Furthering his professional development, Mr. Spiropoulos has earned several other certifications, including a Certificate of Awareness in MESA Manufacturing Operations Management Business Awareness, a Certificate of Training from The Chartered Institute of Marketing and certification as a Certified Business Professional through the Large Account Management Process Strategic Selling program by Miller Heiman Business Program.

Outside of his professional work, Mr. Spiropoulos dedicates time to civic organizations through work with the Red Cross, the Salvation Army and the King's College London Alumni Association. Passionate about writing, music, history, and artistic expression, Eugene is actively engaged in the afrobeat music and movie industries. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, reading, collecting rare books, exploring technology and practicing photography. He comes from a multicultural background and holds American, Greek-Cypriot and Nigerian citizenship.
