Earlier that year, he briefly held the role of process improvement manager at Griffith Foods, where he applied his expertise in streamlining operations and implementing practical process enhancements.

From 2019 to 2024, Mr. Chiesa served as the senior regional total productive maintenance manager at AFNA. During this period, he led a significant North American TPM rollout across eight factories, introducing a tracking tool that he had developed during his time at Mars, Incorporated. His leadership in this initiative underscored his ability to drive large-scale projects and foster continuous improvement across diverse teams.

Mr. Chiesa's career trajectory includes a pivotal role as education and training manager at Mars, Incorporated, from 2014 to 2019. Here, he was part of a global team responsible for developing TPM pillars, with a particular focus on the Autonomous Maintenance pillar. His collaborative efforts culminated in the successful launch of a comprehensive TPM initiative that integrated continuous improvement with TPM strategies.

Mr. Chiesa's earlier experience as a continuous improvement manager at Nestlé from 2011 to 2014 saw him initiate a CI program for master planning and establish a cascading system of key performance indicators within the organization. This foundational work laid the groundwork for subsequent global initiatives in continuous improvement.

Mr. Chiesa began his career with New Labor as a total productive maintenance supervisor from 2008 to 2011, during which he launched the TPM program and focused exclusively on continuous improvement initiatives. His dedication to excellence was recognized in December 2022 when he received the Level Two Award from the Japanese Institute of Preventive Maintenance for his outstanding TPM implementation.

Mr. Chiesa holds a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from Michigan Technological University, graduating in 1988. His educational background provided him with analytical skills that have been instrumental throughout his career in process optimization and continuous improvement.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Chiesa is actively involved in civic organizations, including Fellowship Christian Athletes and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. He has also been recognized for winning a campus championship in flight football at Central Michigan University.

In his personal life, Mr. Chiesa enjoys playing sports such as softball, basketball and volleyball, alongside fishing and swimming. Looking ahead, he plans to return to coaching and teaching at the community college level upon retirement, driven by his passion for mentoring others and sharing the extensive knowledge he has gained over his decades of experience.
