Before becoming an entrepreneur, Mr. Springer was the vice president of operations at Vital Proteins in Franklin Park, Illinois, from 2017 to 2021. There, he was instrumental in designing and constructing a 180,000-square-foot manufacturing facility that became pivotal to the company's rapid growth and subsequent acquisition by Nestlé S.A. Before this achievement, Mr. Springer was the vice president of operations at EHTech in Costa Mesa, California, from 2016 to 2017 and the director of oils and protein manufacturing and general manager at Omega Protein Inc. in Batavia, Illinois, between 2012 and 2016. He also held roles as a performance manager at nGROUP Performance Partners from 2011 to 2012, a plant manager and regional operations manager at Bunge Oils between 2005 and 2011, and a production team leader at The Coca-Cola Company from 1999 to 2005.

Throughout his tenured career in the field, Mr. Springer has also lent his expertise in the classroom as an instructor at Olivet Nazarene University. He taught within the doctorate program in ethical leadership and within the bachelor and Master of Business Administration programs. Mr. Springer also contributed to the institution by teaching the Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement Seminar.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Springer is dedicated to positively impacting environmental conservation efforts. His commitment extends to initiatives that promote environmental stewardship, reflecting his dedication to sustainability and contributions to ecological well-being. Mr. Springer has also been active in the nonprofit sector as a former board director for his local chapter of the United Way. Most honorably, he served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1992 to 1998 aboard the USS Truett and USS New Orleans.

Mr. Springer's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and a Master of Business Administration from the University of California Riverside.

As part of his ongoing professional commitments, Mr. Springer is a member of the Technology & Manufacturing Association. He was also a member of the board of directors for the American Dairy Products Institute and the Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3s.
