For nearly 50 years, Terry R. Long, RN, has excelled as a nurse and health care practitioner. She became interested in medicine in 1977 after volunteering at a local hospital as a teenager. Although initially pursuing a pre-medical education at the University of Nevada, she gravitated toward nursing and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1984. Prior to graduating, Ms. Long gained experience in her field as an electrocardiogram and laboratory technician with Carson Tahoe Health.
