Among his most notable achievements at Lineage, Mike is recognized for reviving and leading a stalled technology implementation project shortly after joining the company. Despite significant setbacks and the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, he successfully oversaw a remote rollout across nearly twice the originally planned number of facilities. His leadership resulted in millions of dollars in annualized cost savings, along with the creation of a scalable project implementation framework and change management plan that continues to be used today. This accomplishment earned him the CEO Award and international recognition for his leadership.

Before joining Lineage, Mike held roles at Plastipak from 2018 to 2019, beginning as a Project Manager for Business and Process Improvement before being promoted to Supply Planning Manager. During his tenure, he was awarded the President's Innovation Award in 2018 in recognition of his contributions to operational efficiency and process optimization. From 2016 to 2018, Mike worked at Lippert in supply chain and demand planning, where he led efforts to streamline logistics operations, implemented and trained teams on new forecast optimization software, and improved customer satisfaction through enhanced forecasting methods.

Earlier in his journey, Mike gained valuable foundational experience through several roles at Bayer Pharmaceuticals from 2012 to 2016, during which he advanced from inbound outbound logistics representative to senior customer logistics representative. In these positions, he managed complex supply chains and contributed to process improvements that supported business objectives.

Throughout his career, Mike has been recognized with several accolades for his outstanding performance and innovative contributions. In addition to his Employee of the Year award, he was honored with the Project of the Year award in both 2021 and 2022 for different projects, and an Annual X Factor award in 2021 further highlighting the outstanding impact he has made since joining Lineage.

Many of Mikes' achievements are rooted in his academic background. He earned a Master of Business Administration from Indiana University in 2015, which equipped him with advanced knowledge in business strategy and leadership. He also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in logistics management and marketing from Central Michigan University, completed in 2012. To enhance his knowledge and qualifications, he was certified in strategic human resources leadership and employment law, both by Cornell University in 2023. He has also been certified as a change management practitioner by Prosci since 2020.

Reflecting on his journey, Mike credits his success to intentionally surrounding himself with intelligent, challenging peers and maintaining a mindset of curiosity—consistently asking questions that spark innovation and adaptability. This approach has empowered him to foster collaboration, lead with impact, and harness the diverse strengths within his teams.
