PLOVER, WI, August 15, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Leon John Ostrowski, MBA, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Mr. Ostrowski has built a distinguished career spanning over six decades, marked by his expertise in understanding the needs of new companies to achieve successful commercialization. Since 2014, he has served as chair of Midwest Wealth Ventures and Wisconsin River Business Angels, where he dedicates his time to collaborating with partners on various projects and often gains partial ownership in these ventures.

In addition to his primary role, Mr. Ostrowski has been the owner of Ostrowski Ventures, LLC since 2003 and Opportunity Analysis Associates, LLC, where he continues to leverage his extensive experience in business development. Before this, he held tenure as trustee emeritus at WiSys Technology Foundation Inc. from 2000 to 2020 and concurrently as chair emeritus of the advisory group at the Wisconsin Institute for Sustainable Technology.

Mr. Ostrowski's career began at Dow Corning in 1963, where he worked in new business development until his retirement in 1997. During this time, he honed his skills in research and development, marketing, human resources and global business development in Europe and Japan, all of which laid the foundation for his later success in supporting startups and small businesses in Central Wisconsin. His ability to identify and nurture potential in new ventures has been a hallmark of his professional journey.

Throughout his career, Mr. Ostrowski has been actively involved in industry-related organizations. He has served on the board of Pyran since 2019 and held the position of chair at the Wisconsin Institute of Science and Technology Advisory Board for over a decade. In addition, as vice chair of Wisys Technology Foundation Inc., which serves the 14 outlying campuses of the University of Wisconsin system protecting and licensing their intellectual property. Additionally, he is a member of Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity.

Mr. Ostrowski's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration in marketing from Central Michigan University, earned in 1969, and a Bachelor of Science in chemistry with a minor in math and economics from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, obtained in 1963. He was the first in his family to attend college. Throughout his career, he attributes much of his success to hard work, being a people person and surrounding himself with intelligent collaborators. He is equally proud of his three children and their spouses, in addition to eight grandchildren, who are all college graduates. His real-life experiences have also played a significant role in shaping his career path.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Ostrowski is deeply committed to preserving Polish heritage through civic involvement, founding Heritage of Portage County Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to this cause, and the Dozynki Harvest Festival, which granted over $250,000 in scholarships to high school students. His efforts have been recognized with various civic recognition, such as the Polish Heritage Award and the Service Award from WiSys Technology Foundation Inc.

In his personal life, Mr. Ostrowski enjoys global traveling, embracing life's adventures and spending time with his family, including his three adult children and their families. Looking ahead, he envisions establishing a robust entrepreneurial ecosystem in Central Wisconsin that will foster key companies capable of generating numerous jobs, further contributing to the region's economic growth and vitality, as demonstrated through the development of KI Mobility, Inc. creating several hundred jobs.
