His role also encompasses managing the spa, overseeing personal trainers and group fitness instructors, and organizing a variety of programs and discussions. Mr. du Bois ensures the smooth operation of the club by handling day-to-day operations, checking communications, touring the facility, meeting members and addressing any issues that arise. Before his current appointment, Mr. du Bois served as an Assistant Wellness Director at Big Canyon Country Club from 2024 to 2025. In this capacity, he played a pivotal role in supporting the club's Wellness initiatives and daily operations, honing his skills in hospitality and operations management before earning his promotion.

From 2022 to 2024, Mr. du Bois excelled as a Personal Training Manager at Equinox, where he achieved one of his most notable career milestones by becoming a manager. His tenure at Equinox also included serving as an MNR manager between 2021 and 2022 and as a Manager in Training in 2021. These experiences allowed him to develop expertise in team management and program oversight. From 2019 to 2021, Mr. du Bois successfully served as a certified personal trainer and a Tier 3+ personal trainer at the organization. His dedication to client success and professional growth earned him recognition within the organization.

Earlier in his career, Mr. du Bois contributed to TribeFit as a Personal Trainer starting in 2014 and then as a TribeFit promotional specialist from 2017 to 2018. He also worked as a Personal Trainer and class instructor at Femme Fitness (a female only gym) between 2013 and 2014. From 2008 to 2013, he was a Personal Trainer at LA Fitness UK (now Pure Gym Limited), where he developed foundational skills in fitness consulting and client engagement. Mr. du Bois's professional journey began at Virgin Active as a fitness consultant in 2004 during his studies.

Mr. du Bois's educational background has been integral to his professional achievements. He earned a national diploma in sport, recreation, and fitness (SRF) Management from the Exercise Teachers Academy (ETA) in his home country, Cape Town, South Africa, in 2008. He also holds several certifications, including a national certificate in Coaching Science from ETA in 2008, the REPS Level 3 certification, which has been recognized in the UK, the United Arab Emirates and South Africa since 2008, and a Personal Training certification from the National College of Exercise Professionals in 2019.
