In a concurrent role, Mr. Weathersby is a life coach and boxing trainer at Buckhead Fight Club, where he specializes in training children and developing fighters' skills. His expertise in coaching is further demonstrated by his decade-long experience training fighters, which has positioned him as an expert life coach and published author. Additionally, Mr. Weathersby serves as an educator and motivational speaker and contracts with the county and Atlanta Public Schools to work with elementary, middle and high school students.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Weathersby worked as a surgical technician at Kaiser Permanente for one year. He is particularly proud of his contributions in this role, which included delivering babies and supporting surgical teams. This experience followed Mr. Weathersby's honorable service as a corporal in the United States Army, where he developed discipline and a signature resilience that would inform his later pursuits.

Mr. Weathersby's professional journey began in athletics. After playing baseball for only one year in high school, he was drafted by the Kansas City Royals under the name Leonard Weathersby in 1993—a testament to his determination and natural talent. He played in the minor leagues from 1993 to 1995 before attending Bowling Green State University, where he played Division I college football, which he regards as one of his most important personal milestones. Following his athletic career, Mr. Weathersby explored acting and spent time in the entertainment industry before participating in amateur boxing matches.

Mr. Weathersby's dedication to service extends beyond his professional roles. He is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success and has received several honors throughout his career, including the Special Teams Most Valuable Player Award from Bowling Green State University in 1998, induction into SALUTE Veterans National Honor Society and the Long-distance Play of the Day Award from AT&T. Mr. Weathersby extends his reach through writing and has proudly published several works focused on health, wellness and personal development, including "Sonny Spilled the Beans: The Health Benefits of Adding Some Spice to Your Life," "Peregrination: The Journey to Wellness," "7 Tips on How to Get Tapped In Fit" and "Polly and the Phenols."

Mr. Weathersby is passionate about continuous learning and holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology from California State University, Northridge. He also earned a Master of Science in public administration from National University in 2015 and completed coursework toward a doctorate in health psychology at Walden University in 2024. Mr. Weathersby attributes his advancement thus far to his faith, integrity and perseverance through adversity and acknowledges his path from humble beginnings to an accomplished leader as a testament to his resilience and deep commitment to helping others.

Mr. Weathersby is the proud father of four children and cherishes his two grandchildren; he considers his family to be his greatest achievement. Looking toward the future, Mr. Weathersby plans to establish a wellness center to offer Atlanta youth innovative developmental enrichment programs in after-school or homeschool contexts across a range of creative and athletic platforms, including dance, acting, film production, music, and martial arts.
