Before being acquired by CGI, Mr. Fisher founded Strongpoint Security LLC as the company's managing director. Under his direction since 2017, the veteran-owned security company has provided comprehensive security consulting services in security governance, risk and compliance, helping clients navigate complex risk environments and implement robust protection measures at a lower cost than larger firms.

From 2018 to 2022, Mr. Fisher served as the senior director of cybersecurity at Aera Technology. During his tenure, he was brought on to enhance the organization's security governance. He is most proud of building a security program that achieved four significant certifications within four years, underscoring his ability to lead teams through rigorous compliance processes. Mr. Fisher also excelled as the head of cyber risk and resilience at YapStone, a payment processing platform for the vacation rental industry, between 2016 and 2017. There, he collaborated with executive leadership to establish a security program designed to protect vacation and rental payment transactions, ensuring the integrity of sensitive financial data.

Beginning his career in this sector in 2015, Mr. Fisher was the head of business continuity and physical security at Worldpay. He focused on incident management as well as business continuity and disaster recovery. His responsibilities included receiving specialized training from higher headquarters in London, which involved multiple trips to gain insights from their cybersecurity team. Mr. Fisher was also trained in mergers and acquisitions as Worldpay acquired several firms in Montreal and Texas. Beyond his primary roles, he contributed to athletics as an assistant wrestling coach at the high school level and as a wrestling coach at Utah Valley University from 2009 to 2010.

Mr. Fisher's professional foundation was shaped by his service as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army from 2010 to 2015. During this period, he oversaw online security protocols for personnel, marking the beginning of his involvement in information technology security responsibilities. Before serving his country, Mr. Fisher spent five years as a law enforcement officer with the Pittsylvania County Sheriff's Office from 2002 to 2007, where he developed skills in public safety and crisis management.
