Before joining CF Industries Holdings Inc., Ms. Ireland was a process safety management engineer at Nutrien from 2022 to 2024. During her tenure, she contributed significantly to the development and execution of comprehensive safety programs, earning advanced skills in hazard identification and mitigation strategies. In 2015, she was named an operations support development engineer at Rubicon, and in this position, Ms. Ireland collaborated to support plant operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational safety and efficiency through 2022.

Ms. Ireland initiated her career with Dow in 2011, excelling as a run plant engineer through 2013 before advancing to the role of process engineer at the same facility from 2014 to 2015, a role that ignited her interest in process safety. Both early roles provided Ms. Ireland with foundational experience in chemical processing and exposed her to critical industry incidents that shaped her dedication to reduce workplace accidents and enhance industry safety.

A passion for academic excellence prompted Ms. Ireland to earn a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from McNeese State University in 2011, rigorous training that helped her develop the necessary technical proficiency to manage complex engineering challenges. She has also secured several prestigious industry designations and is recognized as a certified process safety professional by the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and as a certified functional safety professional by exida. Additionally, Ms. Ireland completed facility siting and quantitative risk assessment training through BakerRisk, which represents a key milestone in her career progression.

Ms. Ireland is a member of both the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and the Center for Chemical Process Safety, through which she maintains a broad network of colleagues and remains current with emerging trends and best practices. She credits her success thus far to personal motivation and the guidance she has received from mentors throughout her career; in turn, Ms. Ireland is dedicated to mentoring others within the profession, striving to share knowledge and foster growth among colleagues.

In addition to her professional pursuits, Ms. Ireland is humbled to volunteer with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
