LONG BEACH, CA, September 12, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Prema Saraswati, acclaimed hypnotherapist, spiritual healer, speaker and founder of Empowered Mind Wellness LLC and the non-profit Kali's Love, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Since founding Empowered Mind Wellness LLC in 2012, Ms. Saraswati has supported countless clients through one-on-one sessions and group classes and workshops designed to help build confidence and personal growth. Her expertise in trauma healing and empowerment is widely respected, stemming from both her formal clinical training and her lived experience.

A survivor of the communist genocide in Laos during the 1970s, Ms. Saraswati immigrated to the United States with her family as refugees. As one of eleven surviving children, she became the first in her family to graduate from college, overcoming extreme hardship, poverty, and language barriers. Her experience fuels her passion to help others transform suffering into strength.

"I know what it feels like to grow up with suffering, poverty, and limited resources," she says. "That's why I dedicate my life to helping others overcome their pain and step into their own power."

Ms. Saraswati earned a Master of Fine Arts in Film and Video Productions from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Arts from the University of the Pacific. She later completed her training in Clinical Hypnotherapy from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute where she graduated with Honors. Her natural talent for healing is deeply rooted in her lineage of shamans and herbal healers.

Beyond her private practice, she has dedicated herself to service. In 2012, she launched Free Reiki for Veterans, serving homeless veterans in Los Angeles. In 2017, she organized Free Trauma Healing event, mobilizing 30 volunteers and serving 100 clients. She went on to organize more community healing events since then. To further her community service, in 2022 she founded Kali's Love, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing holistic healing services to underserved communities.

In 2025, Ms. Saraswati launched the Dream Achievers Coaching Program, a free, rigorous six-month coaching program for young adults ages 18–35, designed to help them achieve personal and professional goals. She envisions the program expanding worldwide: "Imagine thousands of young adults, our future leaders, reaching their dreams faster and creating positive impacts in their communities."

Her mission is guided by a profound belief in service — rooted in the bodhisattva path (compassion and wisdom) and karma yoga (selfless action). Looking forward, she plans to expand her reach globally through public speaking, large-scale programs, and her aspiration to deliver a TED Talk.

In her personal life, Ms. Saraswati enjoys hiking, dancing, singing, and playing pickleball.
