Earlier in his career, Mr. Chantzis contributed significantly to healthcare, national defense, and open-source cybersecurity. From 2016 to 2020, he was Principal Information Security Engineer at the Mayo Clinic, where he specialized in performing in-depth technical security assessments and penetration tests of medical devices and healthcare infrastructure. His work strengthened the protection of sensitive patient data and helped ensure the resilience of critical systems at one of the world's leading health care institutions.

In addition, Mr. Chantzis is widely known in the global cybersecurity community as the creator of Ncrack, an advanced network authentication cracking tool that he developed from scratch in 2009 - 2010. Over the years, he has acted as its primary maintainer while also contributing broadly to the Nmap Project, one of the most widely used open-source security tools in the world. His work on Ncrack and Nmap has had a lasting impact on penetration testing and network defense practices, and continues to be used by security professionals worldwide.

He also advanced national security as an Information Security Engineer at the Cyber Defence Directorate of the Hellenic National Defense General Staff in Athens, Greece, where he applied his expertise to critical defense initiatives. Earlier roles included conducting advanced vulnerability research at CENSUS S.A., and co-founding entrepreneurial ventures such as PrimaVista and Lesspaper, where he developed innovative cloud-based solutions.

Mr. Chantzis has also been an active speaker and trainer at major security conferences worldwide, where he has shared his expertise with both practitioners and researchers. His presentations include an AI x Security automation talk at BlackHat Asia and BSides San Francisco, medical device hacking workshop at DEF CON, as well as appearances at GrrCon, LayerOne, and other respected industry gatherings. Beyond conference talks, he also authored highly influential research in the legendary Phrack ezine, including "Exploiting TCP and the Persist Timer Infiniteness", which analyzed critical flaws in the foundational protocol of the internet. This work has been widely regarded as both technically rigorous and impactful for the security community.

Mr. Chantzis holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering and Informatics from the University of Patras in Greece (2012). His professional credentials include the Offensive Security Certified Expert (OSCE) and Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certifications, underscoring his advanced expertise in offensive security practices.

Among the hallmarks of his career are his resilience, grit, and ability to bridge cutting-edge technology with rigorous security practices. These qualities have established him as a trusted leader at the forefront of AI security.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. Chantzis pursues martial arts, reflecting discipline and focus, and enjoys learning new languages such as Chinese and Japanese. He also plays the electric guitar, a pursuit that combines creativity with technical mastery, and participates in Dungeons & Dragons, a pastime that fuels imagination and strategic thinking.
