Under Mr. Venuto's leadership, XO Cyber has grown to employ 30 professionals in the U.S. and 75 offshore staff in the Philippines, providing flexible security operations center support tailored to client needs. The company recently expanded its facilities to 8,000 square feet across two locations and is constructing a new security operations center. Mr. Venuto is committed to further growth by recruiting interns from local colleges, including his alma mater, Ferris State University, as well as the University of Michigan and Michigan State University, offering students valuable exposure to the cybersecurity industry. Notably, XO Cyber delivers approximately 1,800 products and services spanning network management and energy solutions, positioning itself as a comprehensive procurement partner.

Before leading XO Cyber, Mr. Venuto was the chief operating officer at US Network from 2017 to 2024. He was responsible for overseeing operational efficiency and implementing process improvements that supported the company's expansion into new markets. Previously, Mr. Venuto held the title of chief technology officer at US Network after initially serving as the vice president between 2009 and 2014.

Mr. Venuto's background in telecommunications previously included serving as the vice president of alliance channel at AT&T from 2003 to 2009. During this time, he developed and managed a team of sales professionals who played a crucial role in expanding the company's market reach and service offerings. Concurrently, Mr. Venuto served as the regional vice president at SBC Communications (now AT&T), where he was instrumental in channel performance, planning, budgeting and more.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Venuto excelled as the director of sales at Focal Communications between 2001 and 2003. His experience also included his leading role as the vice president and general manager at Winstar Communications from 1996 to 2001 and a senior account executive at Allnet Communication between 1993 and 1996.

Mr. Venuto's academic foundation included earning a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in criminal justice from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan, in 1993. Beyond his education, he has become actively involved in industry organizations, serving as a board member for INFUSION Magazine for several years. Mr. Venuto's commitment to civic engagement is reflected in his service as a board member for Channel Futures and as a volunteer with Meals on Wheels during the Thanksgiving season.

As an accomplished public speaker, Mr. Venuto frequently addresses graduating college classes on topics such as climbing the corporate ladder, navigating Fortune 100 companies and transitioning into executive leadership roles. He has also contributed as a panelist for Thrive25.

A defining moment in Mr. Venuto's career was his participation in a highly selective leadership development program early in his professional journey. With only 10% of candidates completing the program, his achievement validated his confidence in his abilities and served as a pivotal milestone that propelled him into executive leadership roles. In light of his success in the industry, Mr. Venuto has been recognized for his contributions, honored with the President's Club Award for 30 consecutive years and received the Innovator of the Year distinction.

Mr. Venuto credits much of his success to fostering a strong workplace culture built on trust and camaraderie, an approach exemplified by daily family lunches that encourage team bonding within his organization. He also acknowledges the instrumental support of his business partner Dave Trader at XO Cyber, a veteran whose complementary skills have been vital to their shared success.
