As owner of TransPHORMation Rehabilitation in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, since 2020, she has dedicated herself to providing individualized care, reviewing patient charts, managing communications, scheduling appointments and treating a diverse range of patients. Her expertise encompasses functional dry needling, chronic pain management and athletic rehabilitation.

Dr. Albrecht is particularly proud of founding her own practice, which has enabled her to offer one-on-one attention within professional guidelines and collaborate with other specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Working alongside a team of compassionate professionals has been a source of great satisfaction for her.

Prior to establishing her practice, Dr. Albrecht served as a physical therapist at Prevea Health within Hospital Sisters Health System from 2018 to 2023. During the preceding five years, she was a physical therapist at the Mayo Clinic Health System at two different locations, where she contributed to the rehabilitation of patients recovering from injury or surgery and supported their return to functional independence.

Dr. Albrecht also gained valuable experience as a physical therapist at Dove Healthcare West Eau Claire and at Transitions Rehabilitation from 2012 to 2014. Her foundational clinical training began with several year-long internships at clinics such as Northern Pines Medical Center, Ecumen Rehabilitation Lakeshore, William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Clinic and the Orthopedic and Spine Clinic. Each internship provided her with exposure to specialized areas of physical therapy and reinforced her dedication to the profession.

Earlier in her career, Dr. Albrecht's involvement in physical therapy began as a volunteer at Luther Midelfort Northland from 2002 to 2010, where she assisted therapists and supported patient care initiatives. Before entering the field professionally, she worked as laundry personnel at Country Inn and Suites from 2010 to 2011 and served as campus operator at The College of St. Scholastica in 2009. She was also a residential advisor at The College of St. Scholastica from 2008 to 2009.

Academically, Dr. Albrecht's background includes earning a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The College of St. Scholastica in 2012 after completing a Bachelor of Arts in health sciences from the same institution in 2010. Her educational journey was inspired by early experiences accompanying her grandmother to therapy sessions and volunteering as a therapy aide during her teenage years.

Additionally, Dr. Albrecht has pursued extensive continuing education. She is a certified therapeutic pain specialist and a certified lymphedema therapist and also holds credentials as a clinical instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association. In addition, she has specialized training in areas like functional dry needling, concussion management, vestibular therapy, canine rehabilitation and chronic pain treatment.

Dr. Albrecht emphasizes that physical therapy is an often-overlooked yet vital part of medicine, offering far more than rehabilitation after injury. Beyond helping patients walk again, it plays a critical role in maintaining wellness, preventing injury and improving quality of life through movement. Guided by this perspective, she has pursued specialized training not only out of professional interest but also from a genuine commitment to patients who struggle to find appropriate care.
