Before his current role, Mr. Yaich was a senior program manager at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority from 2018 to 2020. He led major infrastructure projects that enhanced transit safety and efficiency across the region. In 2018, he contributed as a subject matter expert and senior infrastructure project manager at the Administrative Office of the United States Courts, where he played a pivotal role in modernizing the court's IT systems and bringing it to the state of the art, equally from an industry and public perspective.
From 2017 to 2018, Mr. Yaich was the senior project manager for IT infrastructure at E*TRADE, overseeing critical upgrades to support secure financial transactions. His tenure as IT infrastructure senior project manager with the USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program-Procurement and Supply Management, from 2016 to 2017, involved optimizing global health logistics and supply chains.
Between 2015 and 2016, Mr. Yaich served as the senior IT project manager at the Bureau of Labor Statistics, where he oversaw technology initiatives that enhanced data collection and analysis capabilities. From 2012 to 2015, he held the position of program manager at ICS-Company Confidential, leading confidential projects related to intelligence and national security that required discretion and advanced analytical & technical acumen.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Yaich served as a senior project manager at Royal Caribbean International from 2011 to 2012, overseeing large-scale operational improvements for cruise operations. He also served as program manager at Mardi Gras Gaming from 2010 to 2011 and at Citrix during the same period, focusing on technology integration and process optimization, providing consulting and optimum solutions at the best cost-benefit analysis to both clients. At Mardi Gras, Mr. Yaich planned, designed, built, executed, and delivered the entire casino and gaming enterprise architecture for the casino and at Citrix, he assessed, evaluated and analyzed all Citrix products resulting in a design and execution of strategic methodology to building a measurable customer-centric approach to improve delivery of best IT solutions and products to industry and the public sector. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in international global marketing and management from the University of West Florida in Pensacola, which he completed in 2004, providing foundational knowledge in strategic planning and organizational leadership. Mr. Yaich attributes his success to steadfast support from his family, particularly his wife, Yanyna Yaich, and guidance from influential mentors including Dr. Ken Fritzsche, a retired lieutenant colonel with a doctorate in computer science; Renee Campbell, an accomplished program manager; Pam Delaney, an experienced acquisition program manager; Dr. Charbel Fahed a renowned retired NASA program director and professor, General David Petraeus who served as professor and mentor; as well as Michael Hayden whom he recognizes for distinguished service as an admiral and former director of the National Security Agency.
