Mr. Sandis's expertise extends beyond Palo Alto Networks. He previously founded EQ Headquarters Inc., an emotional intelligence consultancy dedicated to leadership development, where he created innovative programs that advanced his reputation as a forward-thinking designer of transformative learning experiences. Earlier roles include instructional design for Marvell Semiconductor's sales enablement organization and a formative chapter in education as co-founder, dean, and teacher at Oakwood School in Morgan Hill, California. Launching Oakwood's high school stands as one of the defining milestones of his career; hundreds of graduates have since gone on to leading universities, underscoring the lasting influence of his work.

In addition to his corporate and entrepreneurial achievements, Mr. Sandis remains active in community and professional organizations. Since 2023, he has served as Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Pioneer High School Performing Arts Association and maintains memberships with the Project Management Institute, the Association for Talent Development, and MENSA.

His educational background is equally distinguished. Mr. Sandis holds a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Irvine School of Law (2012), a Master of Arts in Curriculum Studies and Teacher Education from Stanford University Graduate School of Education, and a Bachelor of Science in International Politics from Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service. He has also earned multiple professional certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP), Palo Alto Networks cybersecurity designations, and a California teaching credential in social science.
