Concurrently, between 1990 and 2000, she was the early childhood center director at Stephen Wise Temple in Los Angeles. Beyond her professional roles, Ms. Braun is a founding member of the Association of Child Development Specialists in Los Angeles.

Ms. Braun's academic background includes a master's degree in human development from Pacific Oaks College and a bachelor's degree in sociology and sculpture from Pitzer College. In addition to her direct work with parents and children, Ms. Braun is an accomplished author. She wrote "You're Not the Boss of Me: Brat Proofing Your Four to Twelve Year Old," published by HarperCollins in 2010, offering practical strategies for managing challenging behaviors in children. Her earlier book, "Just Tell Me What to Say: Sensible Tips and Scripts for Perplexed Parents," also published by HarperCollins in 2008, provides guidance for navigating common parenting dilemmas with confidence and clarity.

Born in Los Angeles, Ms. Braun enjoys oil painting, biking, gardening and spending time outdoors.
