He began his journey in the automotive sector as a car cleaner at Safari Car Wash, where, during his first month on the job, he found and returned a diamond bracelet to a customer — who turned out to be Don Ray Smith. Impressed by Mr. Cabrera's integrity, Mr. Smith offered him a position at his repair company and provided essential training that would shape his future path.

A pivotal moment occurred when a major hailstorm struck New Orleans, revealing to Mr. Cabrera the vast potential within the dent repair industry. After the closure of Don Ray Smith Dent Company, he founded Dent Kingdom International and began traveling across the United States to address hailstorm-related repairs. Though he now operates auto body shops in Georgetown and his birth country of Ecuador, he continues to derive his primary income from pursuing hailstorm repair opportunities while aiding other automobile shops and manufacturers across the United States and around the world.

Reflecting on his journey thus far, Mr. Cabrera is immensely grateful for the love and support of his wife Marjorie as well as the discipline instilled by his parents at an early age. He credits these foundational influences for shaping his work ethic and guiding his achievements in all he does.
