MIDLAND, TX, September 26, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Krystle M. Vodron has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Vodron currently serves as the executive director of Family Promise of Midland, where she oversees all organizational programs and implements new initiatives to address the needs of homeless families in the Midland community. Her responsibilities encompass property management, staff supervision, program oversight, fundraising, grant writing and conducting board meetings. The organization also includes housing, counseling and childcare programs for two-parent families as well as those with single mothers and single fathers, driving her ultimate goal of ending homelessness throughout her community.

During her tenure at Family Promise of Midland, Ms. Vodron launched an eviction prevention program in January 2025, which stands as one of her most significant professional achievements. The initiative focuses on preventing homelessness by engaging with families at risk of eviction, providing financial literacy education and offering direct financial assistance to help them remain in their homes. Under her leadership, the program has already assisted nearly 40 families and more than 100 individuals in avoiding eviction, reflecting her commitment to proactive solutions that keep families together and housed.

Prior to joining Family Promise of Midland, Ms. Vodron was the children's director at Midland Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) from 2023 to 2024. In this leadership position, she was responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff and developing programs that served the local community's diverse needs.

Before entering the nonprofit sector, Ms. Vodron served in education as an administrator from 2016 to 2022. She led Scharbauer Elementary in Midland from 2018 to 2020, focusing on academic improvement and student well-being. Her leadership was pivotal in establishing programs that supported foster children enrolled at the school — an experience that deeply influenced her career trajectory and inspired her transition into nonprofit work focused on family stability.

Ms. Vodron's earlier career includes serving as an educational consultant for mathematics with the Region 18 Education Service Center. In this capacity, she traveled throughout West Texas to collaborate with superintendents, principals and teachers across multiple districts, providing trainings designed to improve instructional practices, raise academic achievement scores and foster stronger school communities.

Beginning her professional journey as a teacher, Ms. Vodron taught elementary, middle school and high school students for eight years, gaining a comprehensive understanding of student development across grade levels that informed her later work as an administrator and consultant.
Much of Ms. Vodron's success in the academic realm stems from her own scholastic journey, which includes a Master of Arts in educational leadership and administration from The University of Texas Permian Basin and a bachelor's degree in elementary education with a focus on mathematics. Along with her education, she attributes much of her success to the work ethic instilled by her mother, who raised her and her sister as a single parent while working three jobs. This shining example of dedication inspired Ms. Vodron's lifelong commitment to helping others facing adversity.

In addition to her primary roles, Ms. Vodron is engaged in community service as a volunteer with both her local church and West Texas Food Bank. She also serves as vice president of Coffee & Connections, where she helps facilitate networking opportunities for professionals in her region. Her outstanding contributions have seen her recognized through a nomination for the Beacon Awards for innovation in the nonprofit sector.

Happily married and a proud mother of two, Ms. Vodron cherishes spending time with her sons and is actively involved as an assistant baseball coach for their teams. She also enjoys family activities such as gardening and reading together.

Looking to the future with optimism, Ms. Vodron is dedicated to expanding access to housing for families in need by exploring additional property spaces within her community. She also seeks to address barriers related to childcare by developing facilities with extended hours — an initiative aimed at supporting working parents employed in industries with nontraditional schedules such as oil field operations. Education remains central to her mission as she continues to enhance programs that empower families toward greater stability and opportunity, making a lasting impact throughout the Midland community and beyond.
