Since 2018, she has designed and led learning initiatives that consistently achieve high participation and engagement. Her rapid promotion within Mercer highlights her ability to navigate complex executive conversations and deliver impactful programs, despite her relatively short tenure in the role.

Before joining Mercer, Ms. Perez founded Change Monkey Consulting in 2016 in Dallas, Texas, focused on people manager training programs for high-potential talent, executive coaching, and other developmental learning programs. She has provided strategic guidance to leaders across industries to help them achieve organizational objectives.

Her previous experience includes serving as an adjunct faculty member at Brookhaven College from 2016 to 2021, where she contributed to the academic development of students in areas related to professional skills, on the job training, and English as a Second Language.

From 2014 to 2016, Ms. Perez served as a distance learning instructor and coordinator at Region 10 Education Service Center, where she developed and managed remote learning programs for educators. In 2014, she was an adult education instructor under the Federal Adult Education and Literacy Grant with the Dallas Independent School District, supporting adult learners in achieving their educational goals and professional development skills.

Earlier, Ms. Perez's was an organizational consultant and staff researcher in the psychology department for the Cameron County Juvenile Justice Department in San Benito from 2012 to 2013. She also provided leadership as a board member of Sombrero Festival, a South Texas regional-based organization focused on the relationship of the Texas Southern Border and Mexico. She also chaired the Education and Public Awareness Committee with the Cameron County Mental Health Task Force.

From 2011 to 2012, Ms. Perez was a career advisor at Kaplan College in Brownsville, guiding students toward successful career paths post-graduation. Her recruitment expertise was further developed at The BOSS Group in Dallas, where she worked as a Sales and Recruiting Coordinator from 2010 to 2011.

Her consulting background is extensive. From 2009 to 2017, she served as a leadership and organizational development specialist at Metatropia Institute in Dallas, following her initial role as an associate consultant from 2009 to 2010.

Ms. Perez's commitment to professional excellence is demonstrated through her active community involvement. From 2009 to 2011, she served as membership chair for the Dallas Downtown Republican Women's Club and held various leadership roles as a member of the Big 'D' Toastmasters International Club during the same period.

Her academic credentials include a Master of Arts in dispute resolution and conflict management with a focus on leadership and organizational development from Southern Methodist University in Dallas in 2015. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology with an emphasis in industrial and organization psychology from Texas A&M University in College Station in 2009.

As an integrator at heart, Ms. Perez attributes her success to her dedication to staying informed on best practices in human development and theories relevant to her field, collaboration with talented colleagues and fostering supportive workplace communities that align with shared visions. Her approach to work is a combination of psychological and sociological fundamentals with a progressive, modern and authentic view of our world today.

Beyond her professional achievements, since 2016 Ms. Perez has been civically engaged as a Coach with Stand Beside Them (SBT) focused on America's post 9/11 veterans as they navigate the challenges of life after military service with personalized coaching to empower individuals to achieve success in their careers and beyond. She has also chaired Internal Operations and Treasurer for Integral Leadership in Action since 2009. Ms. Perez has also worked with Exodus Ministries, a North Texas nonprofit supporting women reuniting with their children after incarceration. She taught professional development classes to help these women become responsible, productive, and self-sufficient.

Born in Brownsville, Texas, Ms. Perez enjoys playing golf, yoga, reading and spending time with family. Looking ahead, she aims to expand her responsibilities as a learning and development leader by overseeing additional regions beyond the United States within Marsh McLennan Companies Inc., continuing her trajectory of leadership within the organization.
