FEDERAL WAY, WA, October 02, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Charles Arthur Young has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Young is lauded for his dedication to his career, marked by more than three decades in education and literature. His most recent role was as a teacher at Cimarron-Memorial High School in Las Vegas, where he served for over a decade before retiring in 2007 after a distinguished 35-year tenure in the classroom. At Cimarron-Memorial High School, Mr. Young focused on English literature and drama, collaborating with students and faculty to produce musicals and theatrical performances performed to provide scholarship funds for worthy students. Along with coaching a variety of sports he also taught physical education, English, photography, and journalism. He acted as advisor for the school newspaper and yearbook drawing upon his diverse academic background.

Before his tenure at Cimarron-Memorial High School, Mr. Young taught at Rancho High School in Las Vegas for seven years. Rancho High School presented unique challenges due to its environment, but he found fulfillment in supporting students through adversity. Earlier, Mr. Young excelled at Clark High School in Las Vegas, following an earlier position at a nearby junior high school in the same city. He spent seven years teaching at Indian Springs, Nevada teaching a variety of subjects and coaching a number of sports.

Mr. Young's teaching journey began in Melbourne, Australia, where he accepted his first position as a P.E. teacher after graduating from college. With family members residing in Melbourne, his time there was both professionally rewarding and personally fulfilling. He traveled extensively throughout Australia, including visits to Tasmania and Perth where his mother grew up. After two years abroad, Mr. Young returned to the U.S. and taught for one year on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation in Heart Butte, Montana, enduring extreme weather conditions while serving the community.

Upon returning to Seattle, Mr. Young worked for a year as a substitute teacher before relocating to Las Vegas. There, he resumed his teaching career at Indian Springs High School which is just north of Las Vegas. At the Springs, he taught a range of subjects, including elementary physical education, history, photography and English. There he produced and directed the play "In 25 Words or Death." He was also yearbook adviser and was in charge of producing the school's newspaper.

Throughout his career, Mr. Young demonstrated a commitment to student engagement beyond the classroom. He led legal competition teams and debate clubs, guiding students through four years of mock trial competitions that nearly resulted in state championships. Under Mr. Young's leadership, the team achieved second place in the state.

In addition to his educational roles, Mr. Young is a published author and researcher. In 2025, he authored "Murder Will Always Out," a novel that addresses contemporary issues like public health advocacy and societal challenges through historical narrative and investigative storytelling. The book features overlooked historical figures like Kate Carew and editor-in-chief of Pulitzer's "the World" David Graham Phillips. The story explores themes relevant to modern America. Mr. Young considers this work his most significant professional achievement.

In 1989 Mr. Young published "Shake-speare's Tombe Epigramma," an eight page article in the February 1989 issue of GAMES magazine. He received notoriety in a half page article in USA TODAY printed December 9, 1997. Mr. Young also had the honor of being added to the Charles Osgood Files. Mr. Young is still engaged in his research related to the Shakespeare authorship question, and has already written an illustrated book on the subject which he is still trying to publish. As a serious investigator in the Shakespeare Mystery Project, he continues to share insights of the Bard's impact on society.

Mr. Young's academic foundation includes both a bachelor's degree in education earned at Western Washington State College, and a Master of Science degree from Nova University. He graduated at WWSC with dual majors in speech with a drama emphasis, as well as physical education, and with six minors which includes psychology, microbiology, and U.S history. Mr. Young's broad academic pursuits had enabled him to teach multiple subjects throughout his career.

Civically minded, Mr. Young has and will continue to contribute to Bellingham's University Scholarship Fund, and personally he has awarded a number students with the "Chuck Young Scholarship Fund."

Mr. Young is currently trying to find a film producer to look at the novel that he has recently published and the film script he has printed an published on "tumbr." Anyone who is interested can check it out at the link below. "Murder Will Always Out" is a mystery and suspense drama based on newspaper accounts of horrendous, suspicious suicides; murder and other serious crimes; and of the police and political corruption of the Gilded Age. These crimes committed in the New York City area during the beginning of the twentieth-century should be a wake-up call for all of us today as a new Gilded Age has arisen . All of the mysteries presented in this narrative are real, and all of the places and most of the people are real. This tale lies in the twilight-area of what is true and what is fiction. Mr. Young believes fervently that we can't learn from the past if we don't know what the past is.
