ASHBURN, VA, October 02, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Renée C. Quinn, BS, MBA, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Drawing on more than two decades of professional expertise, Mrs. Quinn has built a reputation as a leading figure in business strategy, internet marketing and e-commerce, with a career characterized by innovation, dedication and a focus on community building. Since April 2006, she has been a pivotal asset to IPWatchdog Inc., serving as chief operating officer. As an instrumental member of the executive leadership team, she oversees all operational, financial, procedural and administrative functions, as well as serves as the primary point of contact, managing program sales and sponsorships. Similarly, she manages the execution of the company's flagship events, such as the IPWatchdog Masters™ series, the annual IPWatchdog LIVE conference and the IPWatchdog Institute educational programs. Mrs. Quinn and her husband, Gene, the founder and chief executive officer of IPWatchdog, Inc., have collaborated effectively to expand the company's visibility and influence. Over the past 19 years, their efforts have helped grow IPWatchdog.com into a respected voice in the intellectual property industry.
Mrs. Quinn has also been recognized as a public speaker and corporate educator, focusing on social media strategy, brand development and marketing. She frequently travels across the nation to give tailored presentations at annual meetings, seminars, law schools and professional organizations. Writing extensively on business, brand building, marketing and social media, Mrs. Quinn's work has been published on IPWatchdog.com and in Inventor's Digest, and she has spoken at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office's Women's Symposium and the annual meeting of the Association of Intellectual Property Firms. Notably, Mrs. Quinn and her husband were featured as the cover story of the November 2024 issue of Investor's Digest in celebration of IPWatchdog's 25th anniversary, where they were referred to as IP's First Couple.
Earlier in her career, Mrs. Quinn served as church counsel for St. Stephen Church, in Syracuse, NY, providing guidance on organizational issues and supporting the church's mission through community involvement. Before this role, she was an account representative at Citadel Broadcasting, where she managed client relations and sold advertising. She also worked as a sales executive at the Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce. Mrs. Quinn's early career included five years as a database administrator at Vertex Inc., managing complex account information for over 10,000 bill-to and ship-to contacts and being selected as the "Voice of the Company" for all internal and external telephone system recordings. Her outstanding organizational skills were demonstrated during a six-month data maintenance project involving over 500 multi-level customer accounts.
Highly educated, Mrs. Quinn earned a Master of Business Administration, with a focus on e-commerce and Internet marketing, from the University of Phoenix. This education provided her with essential skills in business development and digital strategy that have been crucial to her success at IPWatchdog, Inc. Earlier, she completed a Bachelor of Science in psychology at Pennsylvania State University. Her initial work providing group and individual therapy in hospital settings strengthened her ability to connect with others, a skill that remains vital to her business approach today.
Mrs. Quinn attributes much of her success to the camaraderie within the intellectual property community and is dedicated to supporting inventors and patent owners affected by legal changes. She has created welcoming environments where individuals feel supported. She also hosts events that encourage genuine connections among attendees, who often comment on the family-like atmosphere; many feel as if they are visiting her home rather than attending another industry event. This sense of community is strengthened by Mrs. Quinn's tradition of baking cookies for each event; she offers chocolate chip cookies, oatmeal raisin cookies, meringues for gluten-free guests, and special treats for those with other dietary restrictions. Her civic involvement includes volunteering with Toys for Tots and supporting THON, a dance marathon dedicated to raising funds for cancer research.
Outside her professional pursuits, Mrs. Quinn enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband and son. She also dedicates time to caring for her six German Shorthaired Pointers, which inspired the creation of a U.S. design patent for her "Rope Throw Dog Toy." Looking ahead, she plans to continue expanding IPWatchdog, Inc. by hiring additional staff and attracting new sponsors while encouraging her team to grow within the organization.
