NOBLESVILLE, IN, October 03, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- James P. Grabowski has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Grabowski's professional journey is marked by a distinguished record of service, innovation and leadership across multiple fields. For the past few years, he has served as the vice president of Mended Hearts Chapter 350, an international organization based in Athens, Georgia, where he has been instrumental in transforming its approach to heart health advocacy. Recognizing the limitations of focusing solely on automated external defibrillators, Mr. Grabowski initiated a pioneering heart scan program that provides affordable calcium scoring scans to detect early signs of heart disease. Under his guidance, more than 800 heart scans have been conducted in partnership with Riverview Health Foundation and local agencies, offering critical baseline data for patients and their physicians. Mr. Grabowski's efforts have directly contributed to the early detection of life-threatening conditions and have expanded access to preventive care for first responders, their families and community members.

Before his work with Mended Hearts Chapter 350, Mr. Grabowski dedicated 40 years to being an aeronautical engineer. Throughout his tenure, he managed teams comprising engineers, hourly employees and junior staff, fostering a collaborative environment that encouraged innovation and professional growth. Mr. Grabowski's technical expertise and leadership resulted in the attainment of numerous U.S. patents and several world patents, underscoring his significant contributions to advancements in electromagnetism.

In addition to his engineering career, Mr. Grabowski has maintained a passion for aviation as a private pilot for 40 years. Achieving this lifelong dream not only fulfilled a personal ambition but also exemplified his commitment to continuous learning and excellence.

Mr. Grabowski's academic foundation was established at the Aerospace Institute, where he earned a bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering in 1967. He completed his degree in just two and a half years while working part-time, setting the stage for his future successes in both engineering and community service. Mr. Grabowski's dedication to professional development is further demonstrated by his project management certificate, which supported his transition from engineering to building project management roles later in his career.

Apart from his degree and professional credentials, Mr. Grabowski's commitment to public safety is evident through his training collaborations with the Noblesville Police Department, the Noblesville School System and the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department. These partnerships facilitated the distribution of automated external defibrillators throughout Hamilton County and supported ongoing heart health initiatives.

Civic engagement has been a cornerstone of Mr. Grabowski's life. He continues to serve others by volunteering at Riverview Health Hospital, accumulating more than 3,500 hours transporting patients and training new volunteers. Earlier, he led the Kiwanis Group as president for several years, organizing fundraising initiatives that benefited local children through partnerships with Noblesville High School students. His leadership extended to youth organizations as a Cub Scouts leader, Boy Scouts leader and coach for the Catholic Youth Organization football and baseball programs for children. Moreover, Mr. Grabowski was president of the Noblesville High School band, contributed to the Noblesville Community Council for the school system and served as an elder at First Christian Church for over five years, reflecting his commitment to faith-based leadership and service.

Mr. Grabowski's exemplary service has been recognized with several honors, including the Mended Hearts: 2024 MHI National Volunteer of the Year Award, and district and regional awards for his innovative heart scan program. His legacy is defined by innovation in engineering and transformative community service, a testament to perseverance, vision and compassion throughout every chapter of his life.
