ATLANTA, GA, October 07, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kristi Porter has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Ms. Porter currently serves as chief impact officer at Vector Global Logistics, a role she formally began earlier this year but held many of the responsibilities under her previous roles there. Based in the Atlanta metropolitan area, she leads the company's global efforts in B Corp certification, purpose-driven logistics, community engagement and value-aligned partnerships. She is particularly proud of guiding Vector Global Logistics through the rigorous process of achieving B Corp certification, which means that the company meets high levels of social and environmental impact. This accomplishment is a testament to her commitment to social responsibility and operational excellence. In her capacity, she also supports the company's Leveraging Logistics for Ukraine initiative, tells compelling stories on their podcast, engages with their charity partners, and helps their clients understand the difference they make by working together.
Since 2021, Ms. Porter has also been a cohost of the "Logistics With Purpose®" podcast produced by Vector Global Logistics and Supply Chain Now in Atlanta. In this role, she shares stories that highlight the intersection of logistics and positive global change.
From 2016 to the present, Ms. Porter has held the title of chief do-gooder at Signify LLC in the greater Atlanta area. She founded Signify to empower nonprofits and social enterprises with marketing strategies that amplify their missions. She has since pivoted Signify to offer fractional chief impact officer services, which help organizations with limited resources achieve significant impact through effective communication and storytelling. Her goal through Signify is to help individuals connect with causes they care about and rally support for both profit and nonprofit ventures.
Prior to serving as chief impact officer at Vector Global Logistics, she served as their chief marketing officer from 2022 to 2025 and vice president of sales and marketing from 2020 to 2022. During these periods, she built the company's marketing strategy and team from the ground up and was instrumental in expanding the company's reach while ensuring its values remained central to its operations.
Her earlier career includes long-term freelance work as a writer, consultant and communications strategist for a variety of clients across multiple sectors. She also held positions at Orange, the Captain Planet Foundation, and The Reynolds Group. Her academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Arts in business communications with a focus on corporate communications from Lubbock Christian University in Lubbock, Texas, graduating in 1999.
Ms. Porter's dedication to nonprofit and impact work began as a child and grew from there. She is particularly interested in the anti-trafficking sector, and started learning about the issue in 2006. It was in 2010 while volunteering with Not For Sale that she learned of the social enterprise model and it broadened her perspective on how business principles can be leveraged for social good, inspiring her to support small businesses and organizations with meaningful missions.
Her civic involvement is extensive. Since 2025, she has been an inclusion council member at Universal Inclusion (UI) podcast, which focuses on diversity within the space sector. Ms. Porter is also set to be a volunteer team member for the Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games. Her previous service includes working on the events team at Blueprint Church from 2015 to 2016, volunteering at Atlanta Dream Center from 2013 to 2016, serving as core team lead for the Not For Sale Campaign from 2012 to 2014, and volunteering in various positions at North Atlanta Church of Christ. Additionally, she is a monthly donor and marketing advisor for The Freedom Collective.
Ms. Porter's contributions have been recognized with honors such as the "40 Under 40 Award" from Christian Event Planning. Throughout her career, she has credited her success to her network of mentors and supporters who have fostered a collaborative environment around her. She believes strongly in surrounding herself with positive individuals dedicated to making a difference, a philosophy that continues to influence her professional approach.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Ms. Porter enjoys traveling and pet sitting during her personal time. She is eager to explore all 50 states and every province in Canada while continuing her travels around the world, and is currently at 48 states and eight provinces, respectively. Professionally, she remains committed to helping individuals maximize their positive impact—leveraging digital connectivity to reach more people globally.
