With more than a decade of distinguished experience spanning construction and academia, Dr. Nassereddine currently serves as an Associate Professor at the University of Kentucky, a role she has held since 2019. In this capacity, she has demonstrated exceptional expertise in construction engineering and project management through her research, teaching, and service, fostering both academic excellence and professional growth among her students. Prior to joining the University of Kentucky, Dr. Nassereddine served as a Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2014 to 2019. There, she conducted advanced research on project management, emerging technologies in construction, and risk management in international projects, work that laid the foundation for her later academic and professional pursuits. Between 2015 and 2019, she also served as a Teaching Assistant, developing curricula, leading lectures and lab sessions, and mentoring students in a range of civil engineering courses.

In 2016, Dr. Nassereddine expanded her industry experience as a construction division intern with Pieper Electric, Inc. in New Berlin, Wisconsin. This role provided practical exposure to project management, estimating, and field operations on high-rise projects. Her professional journey began in 2014 as a trainee with Entreprises A.R. Hourie in her native Lebanon, where she gained valuable hands-on experience in project coordination, site supervision, and safety management before relocating to the United States.

Beyond academia, Dr. Nassereddine is the President and Chief Executive Officer of NCM Consulting, LLC, through which she applies her technical and managerial expertise to industry partnerships and research-driven consulting initiatives.

Dr. Nassereddine's multidisciplinary success is grounded in her strong academic background. She earned both her Doctor of Philosophy (2019) and Master of Science (2016) in Civil Engineering, with a concentration in Construction Engineering and Management, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She also holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil and Environmental Engineering (2014) from Rafik Hariri University in Lebanon. To further strengthen her credentials, she completed a certification in Business, Environment, and Social Responsibility and a minor in Statistics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as the True Lean™ Certification through the University of Kentucky-Toyota Program.

Dr. Nassereddine leads a dynamic research program at the forefront of digital transformation in construction, with over $7 million in funded projects supported by national and federal agencies such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the National Cooperative Highway Research Program. Her work focuses on Construction 4.0, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Twins, and workforce development, shaping how infrastructure is planned, built, and maintained. As Principal Investigator or Co-Principal Investigator on more than 20 funded studies, she has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications, advancing knowledge on technology adoption and innovation in the construction industry. Her international reputation is reflected in her invitations as a keynote speaker at the Kentucky Society of The American Institute of Architects, the Home Builders Association of KY, the Annual Inter-University Symposium on Infrastructure Management, the Korea Institute of Ecological Architecture and Environment, and her features in leading industry outlets such as Building Design + Construction Magazine and ArborXR. In addition to serving as Guest Editor for Buildings special issues on digital transformation and data value in construction, Dr. Nassereddine contributes to the global research community as Committee Communication Coordinator for the Transportation Research Board's Construction Management Committee, where she helps bridge academia and industry to drive progress in construction innovation.

At the University of Kentucky, Dr. Nassereddine is deeply committed to empowering the next generation of engineers through mentorship and innovative teaching. She has supervised numerous undergraduate and graduate students, including two Ph.D. and five master's degree graduates, many of whom have gone on to successful careers in academia and industry. Her teaching consistently receives high evaluations, reflecting her dedication to student engagement and learning excellence. Beyond the classroom, she actively advocates for women in engineering and has served as a panelist for Women in Engineering Day and various mentorship initiatives, inspiring young professionals to pursue leadership roles in the construction field.

In recognition of her excellence as an educator and researcher, Dr. Nassereddine has received numerous awards and distinctions, including the College of Engineering Excellence in Research Award (Associate Professor level) from the University of Kentucky, the Civil Engineering Department Outstanding Faculty of the Year (multiple years), the UAccel Cohort Spirit of I-Corps Award, and the Early Career Award from ELECTRI International. She also earned second place in the American Society of Civil Engineers' Artificial Intelligence Competition, underscoring her ability to integrate cutting-edge technologies into her work.

Outside her professional endeavors, Dr. Nassereddine enjoys hiking, kayaking, and songwriting, pursuits that provide balance and inspiration.
