Prior to joining Powell Property International Group in 2020, Mr. Hanlon was an associate broker with KW Commercial from 2010 to 2017. During this tenure, he played a pivotal role in the transition following the acquisition of Bader & Associates by KW Commercial, ensuring continuity for clients and maintaining high standards of service. His responsibilities included fieldwork for SRS Distribution across Georgia and facilitating significant transactions, such as the sale of 200 acres in Forsyth County. His approach emphasizes not only transactional success but also providing honest advice and fostering long-term relationships with clients.

For the preceding five years, Mr. Hanlon was a broker at Bader & Associates, where he further honed his skills in commercial real estate sales and development. His work during this period included several notable achievements, such as installing irrigation on approximately 1,200 acres in Buford, Georgia.

Between 1990 and 2005, Mr. Hanlon held the position of vice president and associate broker at King Industrial Realty Inc./CORFAC International. Over these fifteen years, he developed a reputation for excellence in industrial real estate and was instrumental in brokering deals that contributed to the growth of numerous businesses throughout the region. One memorable milestone from this era was signing his first lease, approximately 4,000 square feet, at a client's kitchen table, which led to the sale of 12 acres and the construction of a 40,000-square-foot building. Mr. Hanlon began his real estate career as a commercial real estate sales associate with Peachtree Crossing, where he worked for three years after obtaining his license.

Before entering the real estate sector, Mr. Hanlon worked as a quality assurance representative in the quality assurance department at Days Inn of America Inc., immediately following college graduation. In this role, he traveled extensively across the United States evaluating hotels and motels, interacting with franchisees and learning about their operations. The exposure to franchisees' backgrounds, many of whom had experience in commercial real estate, inspired him to pursue his own path in the industry.

Throughout his career, Mr. Hanlon has been actively involved in professional organizations that reflect his dedication to industry advancement and community engagement. He is a member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of REALTORS®, Lanier Forsyth Rotary and North Gwinnett Kiwanis, where he served as past president and maintained membership for fifteen years. Additionally, he is a past member of the Million Dollar Club with the Atlanta Commercial Board of REALTORS®. His contributions have been recognized with the Phoenix Award from the Million Dollar Club for five consecutive years and with being named distinguished former president of North Gwinnett Kiwanis in 2009.

Mr. Hanlon's academic background includes earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing and marketing management from Shorter University in Rome, Georgia, graduating in 1982. He holds certification as a real estate broker and sales agent from the Georgia Real Estate Commission. Beyond his education, he attributes much of his professional success to honesty and integrity, values that guide his interactions with clients and colleagues alike. He is known for providing transparent advice, even when it means recommending against deals or leases that may not serve a client's best interests.

On a personal level, Mr. Hanlon enjoys boating and lake activities, traveling, playing tennis and previously played golf. He also values time spent with family, including his spouse Margaret and their daughter. In his community, he has served civically as the president of West Gwinnett Soccer Club and chair of the City of Duluth Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.
