Ms. Loftus has established a distinguished career in pharmaceutical sales, currently serving as executive pharmaceutical sales specialist at AstraZeneca in Cincinnati, Ohio, since 2004. Over the course of more than 20 years with the company, she has demonstrated exceptional expertise in her field, earning recognition for her outstanding performance and dedication. Among her most notable achievements is her induction into the AstraZeneca Circle of Excellence in 2022, an honor that included a celebratory trip to Rome. Additionally, she has received several special incentive awards from AstraZeneca, underscoring her consistent contributions to the organization.

Prior to joining AstraZeneca, Ms. Loftus held the position of silicone sales representative at General Electric Silicones, now known as GE Sealants under General Electric Company and Henkel Corporation, from 2002 to 2003. In this role, she managed sales territories across Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky, West Virginia, Tennessee and Pennsylvania. Her natural affinity for working with people and her ability to build strong client relationships were instrumental in her success during this period.

Ms. Loftus began her professional journey as a senior research associate at Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati from 1990 to 2001. Her work in research and development laid a strong foundation for her subsequent roles in sales and business development. When Procter & Gamble offered voluntary separation packages, she accepted one that included eight months' salary and a year's worth of benefits. This decision allowed her to travel and explore new opportunities before transitioning into sales. She remains connected to Procter & Gamble through an alumni organization that meets biannually to discuss company updates.

Her academic background has played a significant role in shaping her career trajectory. Ms. Loftus earned a Master of Science in cosmetic science from the James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy at the University of Cincinnati in 1994. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in natural science with a concentration in chemistry from Mount St. Joseph University, completed in 1989, and an Associate of Arts in liberal arts and sciences from Cottey College, awarded in 1987. She attributes her professional success to her motivation, which has driven her to excel academically and professionally.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Ms. Loftus is deeply committed to civic engagement and community service. Since 2000, she has been an active member and volunteer teacher for kindergarten Sunday school at her local church. She also supports and volunteers with Habitat for Humanity International, local soup kitchens and Matthew 25 Ministries, reflecting her dedication to making a positive impact beyond the workplace.

Ms. Loftus was born in Indianapolis and is the mother of five children. She enjoys traveling with her husband in their trailer and has participated in two marathons—Dublin and Venice—demonstrating her passion for running and personal achievement outside of her professional life.
