Tiffany's teaching philosophy centers on individualized instruction, tailoring exercises to each student's needs, whether they are preparing for auditions, working on performance pieces with their bands, or seeking improvement in specific areas. She is known for her expertise in the mixing vocal technique and is one of the few instructors in Utah proficient in teaching rock-style singing. While she is classically trained, her primary focus remains on contemporary genres, such as musical theatre, rock, and pop. Her lessons are characterized by a balance of fun and rigor, fostering an uplifting environment that encourages both personal growth and technical achievement.

Prior to establishing Singing at Tiffany's, Tiffany has served as a vocal coach at a studio in Utah, for approximately six years. During this tenure, she achieved the highest student retention rate among her peers, with many students specifically requesting her guidance. Before joining the studio, she taught independently, assisting friends with audition preparation and healthy singing techniques. Her journey as an educator began in high school when she started offering paid voice lessons to peers, laying the foundation for her future entrepreneurial endeavors.

Tiffany's academic background has been instrumental in shaping her career. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary Voice Performance from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, graduating in 2021. Initially pursuing studies in choral music and music education for three years, she found the classroom-based approach limiting compared to private instruction. Recognizing a gap in the university's offerings — where only classical music was emphasized — she collaborated with faculty to establish the contemporary voice performance major. This pioneering effort not only fulfilled her own aspirations but also created new opportunities for future students interested in modern vocal styles.

Furthermore, Tiffany's educational journey was marked by determination and resilience. Despite being advised as a teenager that her ambitions might lead only to teaching or service roles, her strong work ethic propelled her forward. She credits much of her success to the unwavering support of her parents, who encouraged her to pursue music even during challenging times in college. Their belief in her abilities provided the foundation for her achievements.

Tiffany's professional path was inspired by early experiences as a student herself. After beginning voice lessons at age 11, she knew by the time she turned 14 that she wanted to become a voice teacher with her own studio. Throughout college and beyond, she continued teaching privately while refining her skills through ongoing study of vocal science and technique. This commitment persists today as she continues to take lessons and engage with current literature, particularly focused on the science of the human voice.

Beyond her business pursuits, Tiffany is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she donates 10% of everything she earns and serves through the various service organizations/opportunities her church participates in.

Tiffany's accomplishments have been recognized through numerous statewide competitions in her hometown of Mesa, AZ, including but not limited to: being first chair in Allstate Show choir, several classical regional and Allstate choir placements, and being nominated for a National Youth Award for her role as Rizzo in Grease. She has also had the opportunity so sing America's National Anthem in various places including Chase Field and for the United States Navy Graduation in Utah during the Covid-19 pandemic.

In her personal life, she enjoys a range of interests outside of music. She loves reading fantasy romance novels and business books, getting chatty on her podcast Well-Rounded, exercising at the gym, and watching movies and football.

Looking ahead, Tiffany envisions expanding Singing at Tiffany's into a nationally recognized brand while developing online courses and products that can help more people achieve their vocal dreams. In addition to this, she aspires to mentor other teachers, travel around teaching masterclasses for voice and business, and hopes to write a couple of books some day! Tiffany also plans to incorporate her skills as a professional live audio engineer into her various business pursuits along the way. She hopes to one day speak at events like TEDx to open up the minds of other artists to the possibilities within a music career.
