At VSO, he helped structure federal contracting pathways that enable service members nearing retirement to complete on-the-job internships at no cost to the government. The program advances client missions while underscoring his commitment to supporting veterans' transition to civilian careers.

Previously, Mr. Moriarty was an Inside Sales Representative at Splunk (2021–2022), supporting the company's broader move from on-premises deployments to modern cloud models. He focused on pipeline generation, meeting orchestration, and early-stage deal management in close coordination with field representatives, distinguishing himself through customer rapport and tailored solutioning.

From 2020 to 2021, he served as an Account Executive at Clowder®, a startup building mobile applications for membership-based organizations. He advanced from sales representative to account executive within three months, reflecting adaptability and performance. Before entering technology, he taught social studies and coached basketball, track, and tennis at St. Bernard Preparatory School in Alabama (2017–2019), an experience that sharpened his communication and leadership skills.

Mr. Moriarty earned a Master of Science in Business from The Busch School of Business at The Catholic University of America (2020) and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Belmont Abbey College (2017). He served as president of Kappa Sigma Fraternity (2016–2017), gaining early leadership experience. His work has been recognized with honors, along with acknowledgments from veteran-support organizations.

Grounded in faith, he attributes his approach to transparency, honesty, and building common ground with colleagues and clients. Born in Arlington, Virginia, and raised in Fairfax and Great Falls, he is the son of a former prosecutor turned attorney. He now devotes his free time to his family—his wife and four daughters—enjoying bike rides, ice cream outings, and coaching youth sports.
