Co-founding Creative BioTherapeutics (CBT) in Gurnee, Illinois in 2016 with her scientist husband, she has been instrumental in shaping the company's strategic direction, mission and long term vision to bring novel and lifesaving therapies to reverse drug resistance in patients with late-stage cancers. From 2016 to 2019 she was instrumental in funding early activities from her other business ventures as a silent partner while securing resources for facilities, operational support and advisory needs to support the early operational development of the company.

From 2020 through 2024, she assumed a more active role as chief operating officer and president, where she managed all operations, including mentoring and collaborating with staff, financial and operational planning, participating in grant writing, and leading the business's commercialization efforts of CBT. Her other responsibilities also include investor relations and fundraising through private and conference based presentations, to secure the funds required to develop the company's pioneering cancer therapies. During this time Dr. Davidson was also chief executive officer and founder of her private physical therapy clinic Creative Rehab.

Beginning in late 2024, Dr. Davidson assumed the role of chief executive officer of Creative BioTherapeutics to advance the organization's mission from its early formative years in preparation for future clinical development, while further solidifying her influence on the company's growth and research initiatives. In this role, she continues to set the company's strategic direction working closely with her co-founder-husband who transitioned from CEO to the chief scientific officer role at the same time.

Before her work in biotechnology, and after successful tenure as a clinician and business leader in healthcare centers, Dr. Davidson founded and was chief executive officer of her private practice, Creative Rehab, from 1998 to 2024 providing both operational oversight and expert clinical care to her patients. Under her leadership, Creative Rehab became known for its comprehensive approach to rehabilitation services, drawing patients from multiple states due its outcomes and quality patient care. Notably, her young daughters contributed to the naming of the clinic beginning the path for the multi-company Creative brand, one of which now serves as the chief executive officer upon completion of a successful secession plan.

As a serial entrepreneur, in addition to her private practice, Dr. Davidson established Creative Pain Solutions in 2005, collaborating with a physician and psychologist to address chronic pain through behavioral modification rather than medication reliance. This innovative interdisciplinary program empowered patients to alter their functional behaviors, improving outcomes for long term health and wellness. Five years later, she launched Creative Research, Education and Training, designing educational programs for physical therapists that emphasized a functional approach through the identification of and addressing the cause of physical dysfunction expanding effective evidence-based practices.

Earlier in her career, from 1984 to 1987 she worked full time as a clinician. Beginning in 1988, while continuing with full time patient care she began her journey into business expansion of her hospital employers in South Bend, Indiana, making significant contributions to operational efficiency, revenue generation and organizational expansion. Her first efforts began with the development of a patient focused back school and subsequently expanded into the work injury realm. Dr. Davidson was instrumental in developing a multi-department and profession occupational medicine continuum of care from acute injury through chronic pain management subsequently supporting a free standing work injury facility for the program. During this time, while continuing with clinical care, Dr. Davidson expanded the program into on-site corporate safety programming with several key employers in the region for safety training, post-offer assessments and "train the trainer" programming.

Relocating to the Chicagoland area, from 1992 to 1997, she continued her clinical and administrative skill development expanding the existing early work injury program, while assuming clinical management and staff mentorship. During this tenure, Dr. Davidson became more involved with broader organization programing including leading multi-department teams in a process improvement initiative that spanned three years and produced multiple staff education products. She also directed an off-site team to redesign the patient access system, enhancing efficiency throughout the hospital. She was selected as an internal consultant to assist with a budget reduction and corporate reorganization process, leading a group of several support departments to reduce expenses and facilitate consolidation during budget reductions. Following the reorganization, at the request of the president, she transitioned from leading the physical therapy department to developing a call center that improved communication systems and developing systems for department efficiency. Completing this 15-month process led to her transition back to her clinical roots in physical therapy with Creative Rehab's founding.

Dr. Davidson is currently or has been a member of several professional organizations, including the American Physical Therapy Association, Chicagoland Directors Forum, American Association for Cancer Research and both the Leadership Council and Health and Human Resources Committee of the National Small Business Association.

Her academic background includes earning a doctor of physical therapy from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in 20l3 and a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy from Indiana University in 1984. The knowledge gained through these programs has been foundational to her clinical expertise and entrepreneurial ventures.

Dr. Davidson credits her achievements to the unwavering support of her family, her husband and two daughters, who have encouraged her pursuit of new opportunities across business and clinical fields. One of her daughters is now the chief executive officer of Creative Rehab, while her other daughter is a business owner and architect who is a professor at Virginia Tech.
