SAINT LOUIS, MO, October 15, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nasir Abdalla has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Abdalla has led a remarkable career comprised of leadership, entrepreneurship and advocacy, most notably as the founder of Bantu Global Alliance. In this capacity, he has dedicated himself to empowering and advocating for the Somali Bantu, a minority group within Somali society that has endured centuries of slavery, persecution and displacement. Under his guidance, Bantu Global Alliance focuses on raising global awareness of the history and struggles of the Somali Bantu community, supporting displaced families in refugee camps and building opportunities for education, economic empowerment and cultural preservation.

The son of Somali Bantu parents who escaped the horrors of civil war in Somalia, Mr. Abdalla directs his efforts toward uniting these communities across states and countries under a single global network. He is committed to establishing hospitals and schools, securing government involvement to provide public services and ensuring basic human rights. Having bridged a vital connection between the Somali Bantu community in the United States and those still facing adversity in East Africa, he is working to assemble a dedicated team to oversee these initiatives and ensure their effective implementation.

In addition to his advocacy work, Mr. Abdalla has been the co-owner of Darba Realty in St. Louis, Missouri, since 2021. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to become the first among his community members to establish a real estate business, overcoming significant challenges associated with launching a new venture. This milestone stands as one of his most notable achievements, reflecting both his determination and commitment to creating new opportunities for others.

Mr. Abdalla also serves as the principal owner of Darba Somalian Restaurant, where he has contributed to the local economy while promoting East African cuisine and culture in St. Louis since 2020. His business acumen extends further as he has worked as a money market trader with Taaj Service since 2018, demonstrating his versatility in financial operations.

From 2017 to 2025, Mr. Abdalla managed Abdalla Store — an East African grocery store that he established alongside his father — which marked his initial foray into entrepreneurship following his academic pursuits. Since 2015, he has also served as an interpreter at the International Institute of St. Louis, where he utilizes his fluency in English, Mai Mai and Somali to facilitate communication for individuals navigating new environments.

Before venturing onto his entrepreneurial and advocacy paths, Mr. Abdalla pursued higher education and earned an associate degree in international business from Harris-Stowe State University in 2016. The knowledge gained through this program equipped him with many of the essential skills for launching and managing multiple ventures. His subsequent steps into entrepreneurship laid the groundwork for his storied success in real estate, hospitality and nonprofit leadership.

Reflecting on his journey thus far, Mr. Abdalla attributes his success to a deep passion for giving back to the Somali Bantu community. Traveling regularly between the United States and regions where Somali Bantu remain underserved continues to reinforce his resolve to create lasting solutions through Bantu Global Alliance. He is immensely grateful to his family — particularly his father, brothers and spouse — for setting a shining example through their tireless work ethic, constant encouragement and devotion to aiding Somali Bantu groups globally.

Looking toward the future with determination, Mr. Abdalla envisions Bantu Global Alliance achieving worldwide recognition as a leading force for change within the Somali Bantu community. He aims to expand its efforts by improving infrastructure in underserved areas through the development of housing, hospitals and educational institutions. His ultimate goal is to attract donors and supporters directly to these regions so they can witness firsthand the positive transformation their contributions enable — a vision rooted in transparency, compassion and enduring impact.
