With a decade of experience as a sales trainer and over 20 years in the real estate industry, Mr. Parker is the founder of New Meta Consulting. Since 2025, he has concentrated on providing business development expertise to area businesses while actively exploring consulting opportunities with builders throughout Texas.

Mr. Parker is receptive to potential future collaborations with prominent training organizations and is currently in the process of writing his first book which examines sales methodologies and techniques that he has gathered and improved upon for over a decade.

Prior to establishing New Meta Consulting, Mr. Parker held the position of senior performance coach and online sales counselor manager at KB Home from 2014 to 2025. KB Home is a major U.S. homebuilder founded in 1957. In this capacity, he trained hundreds of successful new home salespeople and supervised the online sales team for the Austin division for over a decade and was recognized as Manager of the Year in 2016 for his exemplary leadership, with many of his methodologies being widely adopted across the organization. His most notable accomplishment was playing a key role in the formation and development of the Austin sales team which went on to win the coveted Performance Club Award consecutively for three years, from 2019 to 2021. The Austin division was the first division to win this award since 2002.

Subsequently, Mr. Parker was recruited to contribute to training efforts for the KB Home sales teams in Houston, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Tampa and the California Bay Area, among other locations. He was also tasked with authoring a company-wide weekly motivational email for nearly one year while the national vice president of sales was on an extended leave.

As the senior performance coach and online sales manager, he made significant contributions by introducing innovative initiatives, such as redesigning sales contests and producing training videos to engage his team remotely.

During his years as a sales counselor, Mr. Parker consistently achieved his targets and sales objectives, a period he considers to be among his more challenging and formative years as a salesperson. As a sales counselor and lead area sales representative from 2003 to 2014, he significantly contributed to the development of both new recruits and seasoned personnel alike. He was awarded "Highest Closing Volume" for the KB Home Austin division – an achievement for which he was awarded in 2005, and which continues to serve as a source of personal pride, particularly due to its recognition by his professional peers.

Mr. Parker is an Austin native and a University of Texas alumni. His study of advertising, marketing, television and film quickly led him to KXAN, the NBC affiliate in Austin, ultimately holding the position of senior associate producer for the station's 6PM show, which was the highest rated news program in Austin at the time.

His transition into sales followed this experience and an initial employment with Fastenal, where he cultivated fundamental business to business sales skills that have influenced his approach to client relations and team leadership.

Mr. Parker is fond of saying that he grew up in a construction family and married into a construction family. He has held a job since the age of 13, working in various construction-related roles and was creating working architectural drawings by the age of 16, winning many vocational education contests associated with V.I.C.A. at the state level.

Furthermore, Mr. Parker is respected for his community service and his commitment to assisting those in need. He has participated in civic engagement through support of organizations such as the Center for Child Protection and currently seeks to continue assisting initiatives aimed at addressing homelessness. Reflecting on his distinguished career thus far, he attributes his accomplishments to his sense of curiosity, recognizing that individuals are primarily motivated by their ambitions. Accordingly, he advocates for becoming a stakeholder in the success of others – a conviction that has driven his enthusiasm for sales and sales training over the years. Additionally, he expresses deep gratitude to Chemise McCain, the president of KB Home's Austin division, who mentored him in becoming an exemplary professional and provided him with his initial opportunity to serve as a performance coach.

Happily married and a proud father of two sons, Mr. Parker enjoys canoeing, learning Spanish, playing the guitar, and spending quality time with his family. Looking toward the future, he plans to expand his consulting work internationally and devote more time to advancing his career as his family responsibilities evolve.
