Prior to joining Nokia, Dr. Bhattiprolu held leadership roles at F5 Networks (now F5, Inc.) in Singapore, where he served as Director of Service Channels for Asia-Pacific from 2016 to 2018, and at Oracle, where he was Consulting Director from 2014 to 2016 and Senior Manager for CGBU Consulting Sales from 2010 to 2014. His tenure at Oracle was distinguished by multiple honors, including the Consulting Sales Representative of the Year at the Oracle Club Excellence Awards in 2014 and Best Consulting Sales Leader for Global Business Units (GBUs).

From 2002 to 2010, he held key positions at Mahindra Satyam (now Tech Mahindra Limited), including Lead Consultant for Telecom Presales and Regional Presales Head, where he honed his expertise in systems integration and value modeling. His professional journey began at Polaris Software Lab (now Virtusa Corp.) as an Assistant Consultant from 2000 to 2002.

Dr. Bhattiprolu's domain expertise encompasses pre-sales, systems integration, 5G, cloud computing, cybersecurity, networking, technical and business consulting, value modeling, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and blockchain technologies. He has received global recognition for his publications in the security domain and is ranked among the top one percent of professionals holding advanced security certifications.

His commitment to lifelong learning is reflected in his academic achievements. He earned a Doctor of Business Administration from Edinburgh Napier University in 2022 and completed a certificate in Global Business Leadership from Universitas 21 in 2007. He holds a postgraduate diploma in management with concentrations in finance and information systems, an MBA, and a Bachelor of Technology in instrumentation from Andhra University.
