Earlier in his career, Mr. Hicks worked in internet sales at Spradley Barr Motors Inc. in 2012 and served as a national account manager for Quantum Import Sales, a division of 3L Corporation, from 2011 to 2012. Between 2009 and 2011, he was the national sales director at Tattered Angels, where he managed large accounts and led sales initiatives.

Prior to these roles, Mr. Hicks's experience also includes positions as a senior account executive at Plaza Copy & Imaging from 2008 to 2009 and as an account executive at Ivize LLC in 2008. As a consultant for Aptara from 2007 until 2008, he provided strategic advice on business operations and client management.

Mr. Hicks began his professional journey at Whitmont Legal Technologies, first as a customer service representative from 2004 to 2005 before advancing to account manager between 2005 and 2007. These early experiences working on calls for attorneys shaped his service-oriented mindset and ability to respond quickly to client needs — qualities that have become hallmarks of his approach in real estate.

Providing a strong foundation for Mr. Hicks's effective communication and relationship-building skills was his academic background, which began with an associate degree in speech and communications from Long Beach City College, awarded in 1999. He subsequently completed coursework at University of La Verne in 2001 and earned a bachelor's degree in communications from California State University, Long Beach, in 2004. In addition, he holds several professional certifications that illustrate his commitment to ongoing learning and adherence to industry standards, including as an accredited buyer's representative and licensed Realtor through the Fort Collins Board of Realtors.
